    1. Bradley Wiggins, 1.03.12
    2. Martin, at 0.34
    3. Rogers, at 1.11
    4. Kelderman, at 1.25
    5. Chavanel, at 1.33
I read this morning that Gesink has said that he and the other Rabo team members have to get their victories soon (I suppose he's thinking of the upcoming Tour of Switzerland for himself) because in the near future, the whole squad won't have any freedom because they'll all be riding for Kelderman.
I didn't realise he's considered such a promising allround prospect.
(The above quote is the TT result, before anyone gets confused)

    According to Letour.fr:

11:55 - Andy Schleck pulls out
Andy Schleck has quit the Dauphiné at km 64.

I wonder if he regrets giving this interview?

It's an early finish today (around 1.30 UK time) due to the tennis. Eurosport is due to start at 12.00.

    This makes him look ridiculous
"“I’ve abandoned too many times this year already,” he said with a half smile. “Earlier in the season, you can ask yourself what’s the best option. But now the Tour is in four weeks so it’s a case of no turning back. You have to go straight on.”

    Classy break

    No Sky or BMC though

Will they just let it go? Is anyone in there a GC threat?

Oh FFS. Stage starts early. I make my pick just now, turn on the TV and my man is soloing in the break.

Irritating. Early because of the tennis presumably?

Normally I don't get excited about the dauphine and get more revved for the tour de swiss but, from the the little I've managed to see it's a good one. Just a shame the Eurosport / French open combo has f*cked the viewing.

Evans puts a dig in on last 10m of the climb, maybe he's rehearsing going for the polka dot jersey in the Tour?

I think Secret Squirrel was thinking back to some time before last month. In fact back to the days of USP / Discovery. If so, I must admit to having much the same thought.

When US Postal did it, there was just Basso or Beloki left at the end. Today the likes of Weening, Kiryenka and Zubeldia were still there. And no-one's expecting any of them to win a big stage race anytime soon.
