ive been in tech/big data/software but as an office manager at a start up you do everything. basically the only support staff member so i do so much more than just buy the milkBMC TM01 - FCN 0

If you are on light duties will they let you take longer lunch breaks or short days? You could fit in some rides or runs to keep the weight down. Exercise is good for mental health as well as physical. It would help keep you focused and time moving would keep you away from the biscuit tin.0 -

Second update this week. I seem to have lost 2.1kg in 10 days. Not sure how that happened but it's clearly working. Well, I'm now in a job where I'm moderately active 6+ hrs a day rather than sitting at a desk near a box of cakes and biscuits. (I'm not doing much exercise outside work, though) and sticking to the 16:8 regime. Hopefully I will have room to spare by the time Christmas + Birthday week arrives.0 -

Hadn't weighed in for a while as been making no real effort and not been on the bike for a couple of weeks for various reasons. Happy to see I've lost another pound/0.5kg The beers and curry on Sunday must have been what did it!0 -
turns out i've been consuming about 3500 calories per day more than my 2k allowance, thing is you see 10 years of cycling about 200 miles a week cancelled that out, now i'm doing SFA not even club rides at the moment, the pounds are piling on.

Hmmm, similar issues for me - big Christmas meal out with friends at the weekend, lots of food, lots of drink, and things that are not good for me. Nice to enjoy myself, but now means that I am some 2.5kg heavier than I want to be, and indeed was a matter of a few weeks ago.
Off to Newport Velodrome on Friday for a likely fairly hard 5 hour session, looking forward to it I think, all be it an early start, have to leave the house at 6.10!

Not updating the table, as since I got down to 71.8 kg my weight has flatlined again. Well, it varies up to 0.3kg but not much happening over the last two weeks. I think my metabolism has adjusted to the new regime, so I need to try something to kickstart the weight loss again.
I am feeling healthier, though. I also got a PB at Park run for the first time in over 3 years. So things are looking up.0 -

I've had a few mince pies and glasses of port over the last few days, but "all things in moderation" as they say. Works do is deferred to next week, so I have at least four big blowout events in the next eight days to look forward to. zero gain over Christmas thanks to my failed attempt to complete the Rapha festive 500, just like last time the weather conspired against me but this time a proper bout of manflu combined to make 310 miles 50 miles to much, but kept the weight off which was nice.
