Aargh! How do you screen print? Presently occupying top spot on the SCR rankings for a Kingston Gate lap and need it framed before someone much more rapid comes along! Stupid technology!FCN 2-4.

Because "windows" is the only word I recognise in your post, I'll say that one! Cheers, Rog.
@Veronese - yep. It's a dream to ride.
@Willy - lots of segments, I think. Sheen Rdbt is a good one. Kingston Gate's where I enter and exit the park.FCN 2-4.

Are you using the Roehampton one?

Ah, was it 17.19?
That's good going mate. If you can do that on your work bike with Rucksack then we could even give it to you
Seriously though, well done that is quick. What bike is it?Blog on my first and now second season of proper riding/racing - www.firstseasonracing.com0 -

Cheers. A S5.
Twas very frustrating because I got held up and would have been tantalisingly close to a sub-17. Never been sub-17.50 on a solo ride before, so was acting like an excited child last night.FCN 2-4.

Nice, when will you be riding that then lol?
With that pace you should look at TTing or racing !Blog on my first and now second season of proper riding/racing - www.firstseasonracing.com0 -

It's my Sunday Best. Will use it for RP and foreign trips.
Am nominally a 3rd Cat, but I got that four years ago during the Hillingdon winter series, and am a bit cr@p frankly: don't get the time to train for races or TTs, nor to enter them on a regular basis. I'm tempted by a couple of races at Palace, but my goal would be not to be lapped more than twice.
I prefer CX racing - I find that more fun, but grass is also softer than tarmac!FCN 2-4.

I know that on some stretches of my commute, mainly Embankment and the Highway, it's easier to cycle in primary and therefore can't help pick up a draft now and again.0 -

Depends, some of my better segments are from taking a draught. Also, I think the wind can make a significant different as a 10mph tailwind can up your top speed by quite a bit.FCN 9 || FCN 50 -
Has anyone got a working premium code ?

Finally got down to the park this evening, was ruddy windy though - headwind the whole way there (21km) so I found it harder work than usual. Best lap time I could manage was around 18:10, was pretty consistent over the 3 laps but dropped something at speed on lap 2 so lost around 1:30 going back, finding it and picking it up. Ended up with a short 56 which I was pretty happy with in the conditions - the last couple of years I've been had to get down there a few times before I can even manage 3 laps!0 -
my first ever KOM!
http://app.strava.com/segments/904441
totally stoked (even though it's a rarely-ridden segment, the overall speed is poor, and i share top spot with someone else ). but i pushed hard to get it, and was on the commuter with front shocks, knobblies, backpack etc... should be able to give it a proper go when i get something quicker. so for now, hurrah!FCN 10 - Crosstrail0 -

Well done, I'm not even on the first page. But then, I've only ever ridden along there with the kids. That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it.0 -
hang on a sec - you had a paceline of younger team-mates and still couldn't top 14.5mph? for shame!

murmur murmur murmur, also on MTB, knobblies, keeping an eye on the kids, windy, 14.2mph actually, murmur some more.
Would it be frowned upon if I cleared off and abandoned the kids on the next family ride?0 -

Looking forward to riding in France in the summer, great rides
Just looking at some Strava rides, and this just looks mad! http://app.strava.com/rides/5751489
That pace over 30 miles is very very good, but over 123! Also look at his Max effort!0 -

Plenty of elevation too (1,644m) - yes, 40+ km/h is impressive.0 -

Nice one! I'm going to have to get back down there to defend my KOM when the weather clears up :twisted:Marmalade0 -

It's northern France. It's quite flat. 26mph average is fine. I appreciate it's part of a peloton but try it in the TT for 10 miles. I'll give you a tenner if you do it.
On another note, I was in Mosquito bikes yesterday and a young chap walked in and he'd got into UK under 16 Nationals. He was on an older Blue Axino which was a nicely proportioned bike. JZ - could be your steed of choice. God knows you need a speed machine. :P0 -
What are you talking about? I was saying it was a flat ride, not a slow one. Sitting in a bunch at 26 mph On the flat is a piece of piss, requires about 220w. I can see that from my race on Saturday.
However, over 120 miles it's certainly not as easy. I can also see from the same race that to do 27 mph for 5 mins needed almost doubt power.Blog on my first and now second season of proper riding/racing - www.firstseasonracing.com0
