I'm beginning to get dropped on some of these segments :(

Maybe rest the Langster and see what I can do with gears on occasion.

I had a chancer riding an old school steel FG with white tyres and a brown brooks try and come around me as I hit waterloo bdg, no fear old chap that was never gonna happen even with that wall of wind almost pushing me in the Thames.

Just uploaded my first lot of rides (well, I think it seems to have only uploaded about 8 of 5 pages worth) and saw my ride over London Bridge this morning got me joint 9th overall on the London Bridge Northbound section.

Next time I'll give it some 'extra' over there and see if I can trouble the leaders!! :)

Furry muff. Respect where its due. Unless its your Wednesday lap in the park. And don't give me that "my brake was rubbing" rubbish. I'm now thinking you were sandbagging big time

Chapeau. Sounds like perfect conditions with green lights and a massive tail wind. That'll last you all winter I reckon ;)

Wednesday was a disaster. I don't think the brake rubbing helped but was shot anyway. I think it was around a 23 minute lap, and I was going flat out, 5 minutes off my best.

23 minutes. That means I've gone faster than you. I know it doesn't count but it makes me feel better.
I've not been round the park since my summer holiday. A combination of lack of energy and other things giving me excuses. Must try harder.
Might be getting a new to me mountain bike soon, so could try it out on the off road lap.

I only use it occasionally if the mood takes me. The biggest influence on time for me is heavy traffic at this end, followed by dog walkers in Bushy Park and the number of people trying to get around Kingston.
It's a bit of fun and interesting to see relative times. If I go round Richmond Park I will just be shown up. I'll still have a go though.

Hmm - not sure I'll be racing many people on the Culbokie to Raigmore route. I'll have to pop down to the Big Smoke to show you how it's done

Warning: JZed has been trying to get an early start on the week's leader board by commuting on a Sunday. I think a week's ban might be in order, or is having to work on a Sunday punishment enough?

I have no chance of any segments this week. Carrying a 15k backpack of stuff in and out makes a big difference.

Not bad young man. Unforunately I've not got a cable for the Garmin at work so I won't be able to post my riposte until tonight. Traffic stuffed me on Chelsea Embankment but I'm hopeful of a good showing from CB to Blackfriars, with a good Millbank section in there too. We shall see.

Well, I am easily distracted. I tend to take the bridge slowly on the path going into Kingston rather than ride through deathrace tunnel. I'll have to MTFU.

I don't like the exits for the bike paths so, unless I've come along the tow path and then over the bike path, I just punch it over the bridge, the tunnel is fine as I'm fairly heavy so I can more than match cars speed. bit I hate is catching a light just off the roundabout so you have to grind up the slight incline.

But on a good day I can rocket though.

I hate those lights at the bottom of the bridge, just before the roundabout. That's why I always go though the bus station and on the cycle track over the bridge. 9/10 I find it's quicker because of the lights.
