I wish they had a turn off kudos from strangers button, perhaps they do ....?

I've got an multinational army of Kudos givers on my Strava feed: Indonesia, California, Scotland to name a few.
I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.

I ended up making my strava account need to follow because of that.

  • Well - no, but they shouldn't be able to follow you (and if they do you can block them) and if they're not following then they can't see your activities to kudos them..

nope they only need to have a strava account then they can see you but not the private details, they can still comment and kudos but not follow.

If you're a member of a club on Strava other members of the club can see your ride and give kudos.

Members of the Bike Radar club, for example whether they follow you or not can see your activities.

My rides titled "Commute" often get random Kudos from people I don't know. Makes me wonder if they are searching for Commutes for some reason?

I opted for "Fixeh with pwr, cold and slow, if you kudos this you're a smelly pirate hooker" and apart from a load of new attention, the usual suspects didn't bother!

Maybe they do read the titles?!

Only did 60 miles in the last 10 days; Strava Fitness and Freshness now says I am in zone awesome for the first time ever.

Lets see if this translates to the road.

around 5 months for me, last year it ramped reasonably quickly I was close to where i was within 3/4 months, resting heart rate didn't change though I'm sure it had to work harder, everything did feel much slower/harder work.

Christ I picked the wrong day to make a comeback, ride out was fine in fact i should have known it was too easy, turned around directly into the 20+ mph NW wind, mid 20s down to low teens, only 39 miles in total but by 12 my elbow started to really hurt by 15 i had to ride with one hand.

i'm very very tired and more than a little disappointed even if i did pick up a few achievements :(

Woohoo cracked 100 miles this week 8)

Managed another 18 miles just now on my 80s steel, much more forgiving on the rough west country roads perhaps thats the answer until i regain my full strength.

Wet, cold & windy but not a problem if you're wearing the right kit and not in a rush

    Kudos indeed.

I completed the first 10 but could not face the hours on the bike in the cold to complete Nov & Dec. Glad there was an award for doing so. Great achievement

Doing them early in the month is the way forward. My worst rides (Feb & July) were because I was forced to go out because I had left them late.

You'd have thought I'd have learnt, but I did the same again this month and did my long ride today, which included 50mph winds, horizontal snow, freezing temperatures, slushy/icy/snowy road surfaces and a snapped chain. But hey ho it's done now and the weather can only get better...
