Kitty is a stalker, whereas you're a real MTB girl, so therefore I value your opinion
Also, Kitty is fixated on "Why Am I Here" and I am afraid that that fixation may be shifted tro me or some other [unfortunate] Crudite. Prevention beats cure, and the cure would comprise of Kitty ending up in a ditch with a lime in her mouth, bound with string and her head in a position reminiscent of scenes from The Exorcist...

my old man (who lives in stoke) has never had a hangover either and eh is a superb drinker)
knowing my luck, instead of getting whatever genes are involved in avoiding a hangover i end up with the ones which gave him heart disease!0 -
Miss Bint & Kitty.
What are your favorites ski resorts, and are you planning on going next season?0 -

Sorry to everyone who is waiting, emergencies first!!!
Ok so I don't really drink that much any more, however, as I used to be a trolley dolly and got to stay in many all inclusive resorts and got paid to get drunk, I do remember my time as a seasoned alcoholic and therefore can offer the following advice,
1) Blend 3 tbsp honey, 1 banana and 1/3 pint of milk (or soya milk) sip at this.
2) Take 2 paracetomol
3) Consume some cheese flavour doritos (this is very important, the cheese flavouring has magical healing properties)
4) Knock one outRide it like you stole it!0 -

I'm planning on asking my girlfriend to move in with me. How do I break the news to her that the money I save from sharing bills won't be used for holidays and nights out, but on more expensive mountain bike parts?
Thanks in advance
wellllll, she will be saving money too yes????........., which she will likely spend on bags and shoes.......so just don't mention it.
Once the first pair of Jimmy Choos is purchased, spend away....this way you can get the upper hand....ie say you presumed the monies saved were for holidays etc, but when she started buying loads of clothes, bags, shoes and make-up you realised that it was for you to purchase your own stuff.......so you did :twisted:Ride it like you stole it!0 -

How often do you find men (or women) staring at your cleavage, and do you take this as a compliment of a sever breach of your personal space?
Many thanks in advance.
I'd love it, but being as I have a pathetic 32C my baps don't draw that much attention.....it's all about the ass baby!Ride it like you stole it!0 -
cheers for the advice,

Nobody wants to floss with pubes......but similarly, if you sandpaper our lips off, we won't be able to suck the sausage therefore you have 2 choices, shaven haven (and maintained as such), or trimmed and tidy.Ride it like you stole it!0 -

I have not toured all the ski resorts of the world, however, of the places I have been my favourite is Zermatt, but it is expensive.......but what can I say, it's all about the 'horn. I also really love Jasna in Slovakia, cheap but there are no lift queues and the off piste gives anywhere in the alps a run for its money!Ride it like you stole it!0 -

Looking to get a bargeineous board for next season. Going to be using it back country on the mountains round here (the high peaks have been geting a ton of snow for the last few years), as well as on piste in Meribel, Portes du Solieil, and Aviemore, and maybe a little off-piste.
I'd say I'm just past being a novice, really starting to get some decent confidence up, but by no way an expert. Just starting to learn to carve.0 -
Then I would say this board is not for you. Of course everything is down to personal preference but the issue with this board is the base.
It is extruded. Extruded bases are pretty soft so more likely to get trashed after an off piste session. Also, they don't hold wax very well, so for an odd session in the snowdome that's fine but if you're planning to hit the hills and don't want to have to have a hot wax part way through your holiday I would think twice.
I would go for a mid flexing all mountain freestyle board, either twin or directional twin (if you need any of the lingo explaining inbox me, I don't want to assume you know about this...or that you don't). Not too stiff as it is hard to turn and not forgiving, especially if you are learning to carve, not too soft either because as soon as you pick up a little speed, it is likely to start chattering and giving you a lot of feedback then you are likely to catch an edge and get thrown off.
Camber has better grip on ice but rocker will do you better off piste as the banana shape keeps the nose high.
I notice that the APO is a cam-rock which is a technology I have not yet tried so I can’t really say how it performs. I am hoping to test one this coming season. I would also steer clear of Bataleon triple base technology. It is good in the park and helps you stop those dreaded edge catches but sketchy as hell on ice. And the bases are crap and slow. Flat boards seem a little lifeless to me and seem to lack pop (I have one, a salomon lily), although they seem to go quickly when you flatbase it!
I personally love K2 boards, every one I have ridden I have fallen in love with. And I have ridden a lot of boards. They just feel so alive and bouncy and their sintered bases take some hammer. I am not the expert on mens boards but having had a look for you, I would consider a K2 darkstar if you want something fun and forgiving, and for something with a tad more stability and power a K2 turbo dream.

MissBint37, awesome info, thank you very much
I have no preference for regular or goofy, and keep getting jokingly told off by my instructor. He says I really should decide on a stance and really work on it, instead of being a jack-of-all-trades, master of none, so to speak.
I'm not convinced (I think he's jealous of my mad skillz ), I think I'd prefer a neutral, non directional board, since both ways feel totally natural. But the slightly directional APO seemed to make sense, offering the best of both worlds.0 -
And, cue typical crudcatcher edit in 3...2...1...0
