Well, no, not that seriously. I was fiddling around with graphs and spreadsheets anyway, plus I had a dodgy knee so thought why not....

On reflection, though, I find the world much easier to understand through shapes. I was always useless at algebra but good at geometry. I guess I find images less ''serious'' than numbers.

Happy to remove them if they're offending your sensibilities.

800 miles behind, that's only an extra 10 miles each. Time to extend the commute home tonight...

The graphs are getting some stick on LGFSS. They don't appreciate a good graph, they are still stuck in the dark ages of information with their endless lists.

    Here's a list for them:

    1 40350 10564 SKY
    2 37804 9838 Silly Commuter Racers
3 27664 5362 Royal Bank of Scotland Cyclists
    4 25223 5125 Imperial College London
    5 24321 5679 UBS
    6 23937 6165 LFGSS
    Mud - Genesis Vapour CCX
    Race - Fuji Norcom Straight
    Sun - Cervelo R3
Winter / Commute - Dolan ADX

Or, as I prefer to see it...

Shouldn't they be worrying about UBS, ICL, and RBS first?

It's a shame we can't look into other team's mileage - there can't be many other cyclists to rival GBSahne's figures..

I can only see team members not mileage for sky!
As for us someone needs to log another mile or a ride so we can crack 10,000! I just added my commute from this morning and we're now on 9,999 miles :-D

Definitely there are cyclists, except my commute is southwards so everyone's going the opposite way!

I've logged about 100 miles I think now, since last week

Ah the nice way :-) I was once cycling to the Amsys Apple training centre down in Kenley and it was great heading out that way!

You've got to remember that SKY have a pretty healthy internal cycling club and they take huge numbers to the Etap and Marmotte. Last year they were competing with the BBC with well over 100 members.

Erskine Bridge on way home last night, a lovely 22.5 miles. Extra 1 mile on way in this morning..... hey! it all counts.... brings me to just over 200 for the team.

we're still 400 miles behind them, but just over 2000 points behind! (BUT this could equate to a 1000 miles (2 points per mile)!!!)

those first 24 miles that people do count the most (10 points/mile) , so if you havent logged any yet...get a move on! :)

I have a 300k outing this weekend; starts at 2am and involves no hills, allegedly.

See its this - I think they've been filtering in users who've done a few miles and then booted them off the team.

To be fair to LFGSS, hipster fixies and tight jeans aren't designed for distance. :P

    can you do that?

but surely the team would lose their miles / points when they get booted?
