I feel I've let the side down by not cycling today. Out in the pub so didn't fancy having a beer or 6 and then trying to ride home. Back on the bike tomorrow and will have to make up for it with some weekend miles.

I see a guy cycling in Sky kit going the other way most days - would someone like me to throw a brick at him?

    No way!

A stick through his front spokes would be much better.

No bother, it's time I put you to the sword anyway!! Dam mountain biking over the last couple of months has really impacted on my miles....

Enjoy France, great place for cycling, bring your bike, no better place for biking. Where abouts you going, only slightly jealous...

    hahahaha

this has got me thinking: we need our own team kit :)
  • Family = No bike.

Plus we're flying there, so it'd be a pain to take the bike anyway. I probably will hire one for a day or two at some point, though, plus they have pedallos on the lake, surely they'll count for a few miles?

As for putting me to the sword, I reckon that I've been ahead for the past six months, I'm sure that I'll overtake again in the next six months, when it's a bit too chilly for you.

After 65 at the weekend I've had a low mileage week so far. Must do better. Still, added a few.

    Ah well..... think pedallos count!

Never gets too chilly for me, but if weather is bad I won't be doing much extra stuff. Your base commute is well above mine, so you would beat me on that. I expect to have such a lead by the end of August that your extra commute will be negated, then it may be touch and go by the end of the year.,....

Right-hand shifter exploded yesterday morning. Normally I'd have left the bike at work until the replacement arrived, but instead I did the honourable thing and took one for the team.

Full commute on the Brompton this morning was fine, but my calves aren't thanking me for doing 17 miles in 42x11 last night

Our works team is 2nd on the 2-10s list behind a team of 2 whose first member logged 3319 miles yesterday  :? :? :? That's 600 miles a day! I'm guessing a mistake... At least I hope so!

400+ gap in our favour. Who is going down the cake shop to get the 1000+ cakes? The view of CW from behind is quite nice so I may just follow her closely
I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.

Added my miles. This coincides with me stepping up to 4 days a week (which is proving v tough) but the 24.4 miles a day should help.

I may have to get the 100K run in v soon to get some proper mileage added on.
