I love the way UBS have effectively given up before they started "We aren't taking this seriously" is basically like waving a white flag! Maybe we should order them a x-large case of MTFU......

I think it's La Marmotte recovery that's going to count the most.

Not sure after 4 days up visiting rellies north of the border that I can catch up a full week in 1 day, but I'll see if I can add a bit extra onto the usual commute - legs should be well rested and fueled on Scottish confectionary.

Well, we have our Alpine contingent, I'll be riding to London on Saturday...via Winchester and Box Hill (130-odd miles), GBSahne's doing 300k....If those who haven't MTFUd yet do so, we should be OK. My mileage will be somewhat lighter next week (going to Sonisphere), but mileage will be back to 'normal' for the last week.

I should be able to put in another 210 plus whatever i can muster in the two weekends... sadly I'm not in the office for 3 days in the next 2 weeks due to site visits so missing out on an 'easy' 90miles or so...

May tag along on a London-Oxford this weekend. Greenwich-Kew to reach the start should mean about 80 miles on Sunday.
Should make up for my lousy week so far (flat hunting and assume potential flatmates don't want to meet me in Lycra first time, so been splitting train with bike commutes this week)

Anyone else fancy London-Oxford on Sunday?

I'm doing the Three Counties Sportive at the weekend (ironically easier and shorter than my normal club run but it's for my Brother who's not as fit, innit) so that will add me at least 70 miles.

We need to beat them.... Its not the here and now that counts, its the mileage at the end! It ends on the 15th July, which funnily enough is the day that I end my cycle tour.... can't get much better than that for me. Should be up to over 1,000 for then hopefully. Every little helps....

I'm going riding tomorrow. No idea where but it'll be rude not to do at least 50 miles. I feel the south coast coming on.....

I'm on a long sponsored ride tomorrow (well for me anyway) and I'll probably get 'lost' on the way home which should be about 70miles.... And then out on Sunday to loosen up...

How many spaces do we have left? Do we need to start pestering people in the stats thread to get them to log miles? Just five or so more members could bridge the gap straight away.
