Meh, I bonked :(. Had problems so suspect over training (and under feeding) - 320 miles in the last 7 days... And I'm still bloody heavy. My legs have been dead since trying (failing) to chase you down on Sunday.

Did you hear me call you a skin suit tart? ;) Looks good.

I was in a blue dhb jacket so must've been someone else. I did 1 lap ACW, cut through the middle on the second lap, then a lap CW. Thought I might've seen you as I was starting the last lap but you (if it was) were just leaving.
Was raining for most of it and I had very much the wrong kit. Fookin freezing by the time I got back to Greenwich and looked like a drowned rat. Ho hum.

Did this morning as busy this eve.

Check the roundabout at the top of sawyers going ACW for a bit of my knee/elbow left after taking the corner too sharply.

If Cancellara can't get round it, what hope do I have?

Pfft, I came off there before Cancellara made it cool.

I'd be up for a lap or two this evening. What time are people getting there?

I'm going to try and be there by 615, but we'll see (yes yes, quiet day at work). I'll start my laps straight off as whatever happens, its 10 miles home from RP :)

  • I'm going to go for a lap or two :) Steady laps though and probably earlier than most.
Why? Because I'm guaranteed a seat all the way in.

I'm on the madone today, in leopard kit. Say hi if you see me.

On Daddy duty today as the wife is not well, but might be able to get out for a few laps this evening if she's feeling any better.

  • I'll be there about 7:30 for half or one and a half laps depending on how I feel. I'm doing a Box Hill effort on the way there so reserve the right to be tired... I'm on the Eddy Merck today wearing a retro style black and cream Alpe D'Huez Jersey (inspiration innit).

Sounds like you'll all be gone before I get there...

  • I'm about to leave, ETA 17:45. Wearing blue t-shirt, black shorts and Aviators! :D Probably will still be there at 05:45, finishing my third lap... :(

Not going to make this. I'm itching to get out in the sun but my wife is really not well and It'd be very selfish of me to leave her to cope with a 2 week year old. It's bad enough that I have to be in the office tomorrow so she'll be alone all day.

I was all set to do a lap and a half of the park tonight until I realised my legs are actually made of raspberry jelly and hence rubbish for cycling. :?

  • Couple of steady laps, think I was holding Pangolin and Edds up from doing any punchy laps, so left them to it :) Was a lovely evening. Cycling Prop, have you grown a beard?! I saw someone in Leopard kit heading in the opposite direction to us at the top of RP.

Delayed by a p****** at work, got to RP at 7.30 and saw CyclingProp leaving as I arrived. Did a couple of laps, legs felt a bit flat but 40 miles in short sleeves so can't really complain given the weather recently.

I've had a beard for about ummm.... 9 years ;). But yeah. That was me. Hard going for 3 laps - NSB was there earlier too.

Still, 65 total for a weekday isn't bad??

I was in the park for a slow 3 laps ACW from about 6.25pm. Was it just me or was the wind all over this place this evening? There was a strong headwind going up Sawyers, but it also felt like a headwind on parts of the stretch from the top of Dark Hill to Broomfield, and a crosswind on the run to Roehampton Gate. Never felt like I had the wind behind me at all. I probably just forgot to take my dose of MTFU this morning.

Yeah we were going CW and down Sawyers was the only good tailwind. The rest was all pretty messy.
