The Crudcatcher Endomondo Distance Challenge Thread

Crossover from the roadie forum? Doesn't appear to do any mountain biking. Lots of miles though, two 40 mile rides yesterday!0
-
I think it's because when you post a challenge on Endomondo, unless you make it private (i.e, only my "friends" would be allowed to join) anyone can see it and join in.
Looking at the top 2, one seems to be in the US, and I think the other is in the Netherlands or something. I reckon they both just randomly joined up.
Show offs.
I do have a button on mine that lets me kick people out of the challenge if I want to, but didn't really see the point.0 -
Don't see the point? How's about "because it's the CRUDCATCHER challenge"?0
-
That's a fair point
Removal now pending on Peter Stacey and Jeff Meyer.
It's a shame you can't do a challenge for most climbing done in a month. I think I'd fare a little better in something like that.0 -
No you wouldn't, you live on the Isle of Man0
-
I did just under 900m vertical on my last ride.
Granted, it was several hills (highest point I can ride to is only like 450m) but it's height nontheless.0 -

Argh! I've gone down the 9th!
Gonna do another 50-60km tomorrow to get up to my 5th place0 -

Oh no you won't! Im currently in 5th and will be racking up the miles tomorrow to stop you
Has Jeff been kicked out then?0 -
Give me a clue on how far you're going and I'll see what I can do ;-)0
-
I've heard he goes all the way.0

Too right.
I'm not going to let you know my planned mileage for tomorrow, it might have to be increased now though. This challenge is actually making me ride more, I'm liking it.0 -
It's cool, I'm just planning a 120km ride, whether that'll happen or not I don't know!0
-
Well I was planning a 2000km ride so beat that.
The above statement is not true0 -
lol, I removed that peter stacey dude and he's gone and re-joined.

What a sheepstwat. Can you message people on endomondo? If so message him and tell him to feck off.0
-
On the challenge screen there is a comments button at the bottom, him and that other dude I booted out were using it to lick each others balls earlier on.0
-
Maybe you should have set the sport to mountain biking. That would probably drive him away.0
-
Just had a read of that, what a bunch of ball lickers. I commented asking who the feck they where.0

Agreed. I'll probably do that next month.0 -
Is there any way you can create routes in Endomondo? If they don't fark off, it would be fun to just humiliate them.
I'd say I'm game for that, except I'm actually quite interested to see how my miles rack up after hibernating and smoking all winter.0 -

What a douche
There's always one like that!
At least with them two gone it's a bit more of a fair challenge0 -

Will the challenge become a monthly occurence then? If so great.
Also 4 more days of lambing, then the bike riding can begin properly can't believe I'm on a pitiful 16 miles :oops:0 -

Good point!
I should've said that when they're gone it will be more fair0 -
Peter... What a hairy arris-hole...
Anyway, I've not been out much at all, just to and from school this past week. This challenge was really making me want to head out on my bike but I'm really busy with various courses this coming week.
Good work everyone though, some big mileages going on!0 -
One of them is gone, the other is not.
Yeehaa, I know you can edit your routes after you've done them, but I don't think you'll be able to add distance to them.
and Angry Bird, I see no reason not to do one every month.
Requires a little refinement I think (this is the 1st time I've done one of these challenge things).
Either make it MTB only, or make it private so it's restricted to people on my friends list, or both.
To be fair, I made this one to cover ALL cycling because I wanted to include the ones amongst us who are commuters too.0 -

Sorry I wasn't very clear.
I put in the title of the challenge "Bikeradar Crudcatcher challenge.
Includes ALL cycling done in the month of April from 01-30th" because I thought there would be a function to select all types of cycling. Turns out there isn't, so you have to have your endomondo thing set to Cycling, sport for it to work irrespective of what type of cycling you're doing.0 -
Ah, i see what you mean. I think it's fair to allow crudders to use any of their cycling, but maybe call it a mountain bike challenge, and set the type to mountain biking.0
