Challenge for April 01-30.
How many kms can you complete in the month of April.
All cycling will be counted (MTB, Road, Commuting etc)
Anyone with Endomondo is welcome to take part.
I've already set up a challenge on Endomondo, link can be found >>>here<<<. Not used it before, but if I've done it right, it should go "live" on Apr 1st.
Anyone else interested?
EDIT: The new challenge for MAY is now open. It is invite only. If you want an invite, you can request one on this thread or by PM

My work systems have just stopped me clicking links on this site for some reason, they seem to have a problem with the redirectingat stuff Bikeradar uses.
Try this one instead (if your system is like ours, you'll need to copy/paste the link into a new tab or window).

It's not the link, its an issue with the Endomondo site at work. It displays some of the information, not all.0
-
I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.0

I've joined up, will be home from Uni over Easter for the majority of the time its on so I will try get some miles in.0
-
so what's the deal, are we competing against each other, or working as a team to beat someone else? If so, who is that "someone else"?
I've racked up nearly 60 miles on the way to work and back this week, soo I guess I could be in.0 -
-
ah, ok.0

This although it does mean starting a week late......0 -
I'm in and can't lose, 70 odd miles to work and back daily.
I promise I really can ride 80mph on the M25.I don't do smileys.

Yeh, this one is just against each other.
Just a bit of gentle encouragement for people to get out a bit more while the weather is (hopefully) nice.0 -
I'll sign up for that. Lots of racing in April so can't see I'll do too many miles!0
-
Why not eh?
Is this riding miles only? Cause I've been walking a lot with the camera recently too.
EDIT:
DUUUH, scratch that, just read it!0 -
Just riding miles for this one I think.0
-

Ahh... I meant that it means i'm driving back after the comp starts
limited tiime to post in work!0 -
Quite tempted. Seeing as petrol is so expensive I'm cycling everywhere for the next 6 weeks while I'm back for easter, meaning as of 1st april when I start lambing I have to do 40 miles a day anyway.0
-
Looks good to me, I've joined up as well0
-
Until my forks are fixed, I'd only be riding the home trainer. Does Endomondo work also with home trainer rides?0
-
Ah I wasn't sure if it only worked if you were on the move, never used Endomondo, and had heard it was a GPS application?0
-
I would join... but I currently dont have a bike... and I hate Endomondo with all my heart... uninstalled it within a week... use Mytracks now.I like bikes and stuff0

joshtp
You need to update your location then
Why didn't you like endomondo?
Mytracks was a pain to use when sharing routes. Endomondo will do it automatically via FB or Twitter, or give you a link for emails/forums etc. Much easier than the Mytracks way of doing it through Google Maps.0 -
not sure i like this.
I am sure I saw someones gardening in their back garden or allotment.
Seems to be a lot of info for people to know."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

You mean people knowing where other people live?
I normally start/stop my rides from about half a mile into each end of the journey. Quite why you'd record your gardening I don't know! :?0 -

This.
I have mine set so only my "friends" can see my maps, everyone else just sees distance, time, speed etc.
IIRC I think you can even set it so that you are completely blocked from public viewing, and only your friends can see any of your data.0
