Don't want to rain on parades, but I suspect UBS might be complaining about the londonlessness of some of our team...

I ride in London regularly (the early hours of yesterday morning, be passing through again on Saturday) . I just don't live or work there. As I've stated repeatedly before, I find the rules utterly absurd- London is not a closed city, and living and working there is one thing, riding is another. If UBS want to complain and get some of us (or all of us!) disqualified their 'victory' will be a hollow one.

Well I haven't heard anything from TFL yet.....and if they do decide to start up things like that then I'll just request all teams, or at least theirs are verified. Besides UBS are still sitting in 2 categories due to some coding fail on TFL's part :-)

42.7 from yesterday and 17.8 for today. TBH, I might struggle to put any more up, I tripped getting out of the shower and landed awkwardly on my ankle, which is now black. Sat here with a bag of frozen peas on it to keep the swelling down. :(

As long as it will move tomorrow, I'll ride.

Crawled in this morning and managed to put an extra couple of miles in. TBH, I probably should have driven as my ankle isn't too happy. :(

Now you see we have quality riders on our team NOT quantity of riders! Unfortunately that blasted scoring system rewards the first few miles......just look at how many of their team are newbies still!!

32.4 again today - will be doing into work and out with no train until this is over to get the miles in :) Think I might cash in my annual train pass when I get a road bike and make this the regular mode of transport - just get the train when it's vile weather.

600 points and 1701 miles lead at present. Still going to be a neck n neck race to the end with us getting the victory, hopefully.
Two hours of sun to gain 32 miles for the cause. Hopefully another 30 to add till the end of the challenge.
I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.

Extended the ride home from town this evening to get another 10m, but that's your lot - I'm out of the country for the rest of the week.

    Good luck !

I'll be out on both Tuesday and Wednesday mornings, plus my piddling commute, so that should be another 30-40. Every little helps....
