***TEAM STATS****
Just popped onto TFL site to check some train times (I plan to race a colleague from Thames Ditton to London Bridge next week, Top Gear stylee!) and found this:
https://cyclechallenge.tfl.gov.uk/index.php
Basically we log our miles on the site and the team with the most wins! I figure as some of us already wrack up some decent mileage (looking at you Rich and CP!) we should destroy the opposition :-)
So any takers?

I'm in providing I can donate miles to both this and SCS at the same time?
Also, we've already doubled the number of miles by last year's winners. Walk in the park.
Edit: Just realised they did 62,000 miles in a month! Perhaps not that easy after all, or I jsut can't read.Mud - Genesis Vapour CCX
Race - Fuji Norcom Straight
Sun - Cervelo R3
Winter / Commute - Dolan ADX0 -
Yours is rubbish. Ours is much better:

Don't see why not :-) I know there is so much fierce competition amongst the forumers for mileage that we might as well unite and conquer!
I shall setup Team SCR and post back details as I'm fairly sure there will be sufficient interest :-)0 -
Presumably it doesn't have to be in London, so the winner will be more or less any group of any size that cycles the most miles... (yes, I realise there are different categories for different size groups)Sometimes parts break. Sometimes you crash. Sometimes it’s your fault.0

I think:
10 miles is 50 points (10*5)
20 miles is 70 points (10*5)+(10*2)
Every mile after that is worth 1 point.Mud - Genesis Vapour CCX

It's also the month of the Magnificat, we're a sure fire win as on that day I reckon if we get the correct team members we could rake up thousands of points alone :-)0 -
My office want to use me, I'm worth 160 miles on an average week, except in June I'm cycling to Rome in just over 2 weeks
Does that count? :twisted:0 -

hope you don't mind, i've been lurking hereabouts with the intention of joining the fun once i actually start commuting, i've sorted the bike and worked out my FCN (i think), i've got my route sorted (ish) and i'm just waiting for the facilities at work to be finished off. should be up and running (well cycling) mid may, so this seems like the ideal challenge to take part in.
oh and i'm doing the BHF london - brighton in june, do you think that will count?0 -

There are 10 of them in the photo, over a month that would be 208 miles per day per person!0 -
I do wish they ran this in a month that wasn't June, given as that's the end of our holiday year - and I always have stacks to burn.
This year, I'm likely to just be taking the entire month off. ho hum.0 -
