I know what you mean Caz, the only time i've been for a decent ride at dalby i started the red route up near the bike park and there's a nice quick series of berms, got some speed up went round a blind corner only to find a middle aged couple walking there dogs on the trail. Almost came off the bike as i had to avoid there two dogs after almost hitting one. Reached the end of that short section at a strech of forest road and the sign clearly stated no walking on the trial.0 -
If you are after a really good wheel Stu that can handle loads of abuse(read air)!!.....then hand built wheels are significantly stronger than machine built ones but they are expensive.....expect to pay around £200+ for a rear handbuilt.2001 Cove Stiffee FR

yeah they even forgot about the supervisor being on holiday today :?
plus i ended up sorting boxes out that mangement were aware off being too cheap to use some 2 weeks ago, ended up sorting 3 trailer's out with 26 pallet's on each full of product's and boxes that were damaged after being crushed by the weight
oh and the trailer's are for frozen bread temp of -260 -
Oh dear Mick...that can only mean driving a fork lift in Alaskan temperatures.........hope you have a fork truck license and they provided you with protective clothing against the cold temps......''2001 Cove Stiffee FR

I best get saving then ! Although this does mean I got no choice but to use the singlspeed for Cannock :shock:0 -
no protection given plus i had help so we took it in turns going on and off
plus that was the lowest temp as it did go up to around -10, so not too bad.
we used hand pump trucks, not got a full fork lift license yet surpose to be doing it in the near future with morrisons0 -

I used to work in a farm (i have a fork truck license) and we had to load the trailers up with pallets of produce within cold storage...the floor was always wet and slippy.....we had a new lad start who had just gained his fork license and he tried to copy us by doing a 360 degree spin before entering an isle between shelving made of dexion.....the silly pratt hit the leg of the dexion and all the shelves fell down like a pack of cards.....i never laughed so much in my life......a/ we told him not to try it........b/ needless to say he lost his job.2001 Cove Stiffee FR

hello, did you get to do worry gillwhat are brakes for again0

Maloo, I'm recommending Mavic XM719 rims on Hope Pro II hubs and DT Competition spokes from Merlin. Costly at about £170 and the Hope Hub should have a cassette with an Alloy carrier (Shimano XT or above or high end SRAM), OR replace the alloy freehub with a steel one. both options cost about the same but changing the Freehub will give you more options and will last a lot longer.1998 Marin Hawk Hill

No idea where that is mate. I do recognise the swoopy berm section that Mick refers to in his earlier post tho.1998 Marin Hawk Hill

Sorry, edit, Worry Gill is the biggest drop we saw today, at the bottom of the set of log drops & the downhill below it.0
