rottitera02 wrote:Hi keven...nice vids there of cannock.....see tammy had to beat the bike down the weirwolf !!! ...good fun you both had,, i looked at the pie run - glentress whilst watching the others, i take it thats a red run.....it was more techy in places than cannock with lots of roots, skinnies and boardwalks, the scottish reds seem to be more like our black runs in places.
Yes, the pie run and Magic mushroom is part of the red graded trail at Glentress. The camara memory got full half way through Magic Mushroom so didn't get the whole trail in the video. More techy than Cannock in places but most of the tricky stuff can be rolled over or ridden around. Well worth a visit.0 -
cool thankswhat are brakes for again0

Helloooo..........unfortunately i haven't been anywhere today, i've been doing my mates brakes with a homemade bleed kit similar to the avid kit, i put a post up prevoiusly about it with a link......it worked a bloody treat, no air in the system and a damn good easy job,it took me around 20mins to make up the bleed kit and around 20mins to bleed each brake.
Avid charge around £30-40 for this kit and it cost us under a tenner for the bits....well worth it i can tell you .......':D'2001 Cove Stiffee FR

I only found the bridlepaths ones ..I found the end of he mythical "Dog Kennel Descent" but there were too many walkers about to ignore the footpath signs and walk up and ride down it ...I'm too good , I hate people telling me off.

Bloody ramblers eh!!........but they will still complain when you ride on a permitted bridleway as though they are the only ones allowed.....i get this down the cheshire lines near home which is an actual part of the pennine bridleway (it actually starts in southport)
When i point this out they mumble and groan.......plenty of ramblers down there i can tell you.2001 Cove Stiffee FR

Ugh ..one is not impressed, I have gone and got a bloomin ear infection today, dunno if it was sitting in the howling gale and hail stones up on Rivington Pike thats done it, but I am now deaf in one ear and it feels all bunged up
Typical that it's my right ear too...my left isn't 100% at hearing so I am I can't do my wednesday ride as I can't hear the bloody traffic....gahhh !!! thought it was going too well [/ rant]
