I've looked for the post code but the only one i can come up with that will be any use is the one for the visitor centre which is.......WS12 4PW.

I looked at the meet point using the co-ordinates you gave and went to street view and there is a dirty great field next to the long layby which is marked with a white line for parking....it's literally outside/opposite the entrance to the visitor centre.

Hope that bit of info helps anyone going.

yep you can park inside that white line and its free, there is also another road along side the dirty great field. the to roads from a L shape around that green with the visitor center at the top left of the area

i dont think ive ever been to marquis drive on a saturday morning, but im guessing it will be packed.
if it does get full the visitor centre usually opens the overflow carpark, which for some reason is still free i think, even though the centre carpark isnt

both of those carparks arnt that big, but your best parking on the roads anyway

there is a cafe, toilets and bike wash there though

Hi Caz, Tammy and me are off to Afan early tomorrow morning to do the Skyline trail. Hope the weather holds out for us.

hello, this weekend i will be mostly not doing a lot
but i will hopefully be going for a ride at cannock on sunday

just come back from riding the monkey again. those last two downhill sections are great

stopped to have a look at the black off shoot, didnt do it, the drops on the rocks looked a bit much for me at the moment

The turn off is a little to sharp and steep for that little rocky downhill, doubt I'll go down it.

Cheers Keven.......Took a peek at it and was trying to see how far down the drop went...coudn't really tell from the vid......how far down was it..?

It doesn't look as far down a drop as the weirwolf from what i could see of it or am i mistaken ?

your not mistaken, its more like two 1.5foot drops less than 3 feet apart, just looked abit daunting to me
it is a black grade rock garden so is suppose it should be expected

i dread to think what they would do with a black grade shrubbery
