A true scalp is not only overtaking someone but leaving them stopped at a set of lights. As you, who have clearly beaten the lights, pummels nothing but the open air ahead. ~ 'DondaddyD'. Player of the Unspoken Game0 -

could you add yours truly to the possibles.
45 prob, maybe 60, though that would be close on 100 miles for the day. hence 45 more likely.0 -

Oooh forgot about this..... perfect way to bump up my SCS miles before the end of the month.0

Oh and if anyone wants the route card for the 45 miler so they can practice beforehand, just PM me with your email and I'll send it over.
I'll make the other ones a bit smarter - they have lots of livvy shorthand at mo - but will be ready...0 -

+1. Hopefully a nice relaxing weekend for me. Up to the smoke Friday night, ride down to Brighton overnight, if the weather's right possibly ride back as well, then 60 miles Sunday. Which would be 180-odd miles in under 48 hours..then back to work for a rest (lol).Dahon Speed Pro TT; Trek Portland

Is there a very short "i'm seriously slow" option, Its only been a few days and already I feel like i've lost all my fitness
On the other hand it's fecking hot! so it would be rude not to drink cold beerRule #5 // Harden The Feck Up.
Rule #9 // If you are out riding in bad weather, it means you are a badass. Period.
Rule #12 // The correct number of bikes to own is n+1.
Rule #42 // A bike race shall never be preceded with a swim and/or followed by a run.0 -

Ah I can't really make this any more, damn it. I've signed up for a birthday party the night before at School Disco, so I can't really see that I'm going to be able to drag myself out of bed and to CP for 10am...
Damn it, self. Plan better. :roll:0 -

In my head I'm hoping to do this, but it's a bit of a drive to get there and I'm not entirely convinced I'll do 60 miles. It's the plan right now though.0

Ah well, hope you have fun at School Disco (bit kinky isn't it?).Food Chain number = 4

Poor excuses, sorry...Drink slightly less perhaps? Get an alarm clock? I'll have a very long Friday night/Saturday morning. Possibly 120 miles, certainly 60. Thanks to 'rail improvements' I'll have another ten miles to ride Sunday morning, on top of 2 hours + on the train. Now that's an excuse. Which I'm not going to useDahon Speed Pro TT; Trek Portland

Ah, you're wrong, you've seen me arrive at the morpeth and leave the morpeth. For all you know I could have a driver waiting for me just around the corner...0 -

10am start, 60 'slowcial' miles, pub lunch, and having to get back across London?
Doesn't sound likely.0 -
