TO ALL FAT CLUB MEMBERS
I have 2 pars of lee cooper jeans. 48 inch waist. i have had them in my wardrobe for aout a year now they have only ever been worn about 4 times so pretty new.
pair one is normal jean coulor
pair 2 is like a creamy coulor
its a shame to bin them as there in mint condition i would say.
i aint sure if any one is this size waist. but if there is any one that wants them FREE pay the postage and there yours there worth about 30 quid a pair.
i do not want to bin these.
i may try ebay so shout before i put them up.
reason i am given them away is i am now about a 42 waist so they fal of my skinny arse0 -

Basically eating 6 meals per day all based round protein adding in carbs first thing in the morning and each side of a workout. Post workout is a protein shake with simple sugars (easy to swallow) aside from that its lean meat, vegetables, and log GI carbs i.e. brown pasta/ wholemeal bread. Couple that with training 5/6 times per week and I'm in a deficit of about 1000calories per day (I know, I know...). Also throwing in some weights and seeing some big changes after one week. Not just in belly size but energy levels, concentration, and hunger pangs (or lack thereof).
I know the science behind it all but cool to see it in action!
Actually started @ 21% and now at 19% so that is about 1.5kg or 3.3lbs in 1.5-2 weeks which is about where I want to be . I estimated about 10-12 weeks to get there so look to be on track. Once at 10% going to up the calories a little to put on muscle mass. (Will change to more focused training on the bike and weights).0 -
@jojo
Its good when the numbers add up as you expect them to. Dont stress and just keep pushing when you hit your plateaus tho'. I got stuck for 3 weeks.
I'm now back on track and as of this morning have lost exactly 1.5 stone in a week shy of 3 months.0 -

Gratz BFG. I haven't dared get on the scales since I came back from my honeymoon. Our wedding consisted of 3 days of seriously hard partying and consuming enough champagne to float the QE2.I ride like a girl

I have registered and confirmed my place on the Robin Hood Bike Ride that I posted details about in this thread some time ago. The event is run by the British Heart Foundation.
I know this may seem a bit cheeky but it's for a good cause so if you have a few quid laying around doing nothing (check down the back of the sofa) please click the link below. Every pound really does help.

Well, given that I hate riding in the rain, I have joined the gym today and had a really good cardio workout.
I still intend to go cycling but I am the fair weather sort and given that we don't have fair weather in this country very often my weight loss had slowed.
Also, it give me time to wait for the 2010 29er bikes to come out and have a lot to choose from.
I will keep the group posted.

Hi all, I've posted this already in another thread by mistake but it was meant to be here  Anyway, if it's ok I'd like to join the fat club!

Hi all, I've read through this thread and I'm amazed at how well you're all doing - such an inspiration!
I'm 6'2", 18stone, and fed up of my beer belly!
I bought a bike to take out on the trails with my mates but I'm after reading this I'm going to try and get out every other day on the roads. I went out and had a few beers last night and bought peri chicken on the way home - I felt pretty grotty when I got up this morning and guilty so I got up jumped on my bike and went for my first ride It was great, I love it! I managed to do 8 miles in 45 minutes so I think I might stick to this same route for the time being as it's a pretty nice circuit.

Welcome to the Fat Club mate. Can I just say on a sceptical point, that in posting your route, what you have told the 60,000+ members of this forum is;
(a) the street you live on; and
(b) that you're going to be out of the house for 45 minutes every other day.
Just a thought.......
Anyhoo, glad you're getting back on the bike and enjoying it.1998 Marin Hawk Hill

Hi there can i join pls
My user name is fred but my name is neil an my boys call me nelly (size of trunk n that lol)
Im 29 yo 6'4" and weigh in at around the 24 stone mark.
I've always been a big lad as long as i can remember and used to be as strong as an ox, i say used to be cos i was told i've diabetic (type2) around 6month back and now i've lost strength and i need to drop some weight to avoid complications.
I've always been into the mtb's from a young age through to now, just with one thing or another i haven't been riding much of late.
I was out on friday gone at around 5-6am and went through our local park and spotted the bmx/skate park area, thinking oh well nobody appears to be about ill give it ago. Well i wish i hadn't bothered now lol. Was a loverly morning no clouds in sight so i thought no problem for me, i was wrong...morning due had set a nice wet layer on all the ramps and jumps. I made a few of the smaller ones without a problem so proceeded to hit the big one known as k2, i got what i thought was a nice run up and started to climb it, once at the top i realised i was out of steam and slowed to a halt with just the front wheel up on top, i slammed my foot down but was too late and i bounced my head off the top as i slip back down.
Lesson learned, im a big lad and no matter what my head thinks i can do i need to think it through first. Both wrist are damaged i have a soar head with a nice lump, my groin is black and yellow from frame/fork impact, whiplash or strain to my neck and minor gravel rash scattered about.
All in all i wont be doing any skate parks again for a while.
My trusty steed is a GT Zaskar elite with marzocchi junior T's and mainly LX groupset.
My new built is a sintesi 707 frame for now but i have 2 diamondback xsl frame's turning up in the next few days.
This is how it the sintesi looks
Once i buy some scales ill let you know my actual weight then see if i can drop some by riding (no skate parks though).
Goodluck eveyone
