    Hooray,

I've overhauled someone who isn't going to pass me right back :D

Spudpig is history, passed him at the start of my commute. I asked if he needed any help but got no response

So, long way home tonight and mountainbiking tomorrow. I should pass the next one sometime on Friday :)

I'm off to Nurburgring next thursday, so with commuting mon-weds and doing 14 miles this weekend, as long as Ris (or was it Risi, can't remember) doesn't move, I will break 34th before I go. 34th means top half of the table! Doesn't look like anyone else around there is posting miles at the moment, so they are rather easy targets!

FCN5?! I think the FCN calculator needs changing. Someone with legs that have pounded out over 5000 miles in 7.5 months shouldn't be allowed such a lowly figure. You must be scalping left right and centre?

Oh yes, but I use the adjusters to my advantage  , hairy legs and baggies bring the FCN back to 5'ish.

I should probably recalculate it for the fixie

And yes scalps fall regularly in SE London when I'm about :lol::lol::lol:

Can I ask that those who haven't updated for a while do so, and perhaps those who are a couple of months overdue get removed from the main public board?

Please update you lot (and indeed, lets have some more newbies on here, it easy to add yourself) but I don't agree with removing people. For one, they may not have been on the bike for a few months for whatever reason, secondly, they are still genuine(ish) mileages that people did, so they contribute to the average mileage that is at the top of the table. They are also targets to aim for. I'd get more satisfaction passing someone who was 10 places above me than suddenly moving up 6 places because they have been deleted all of a sudden.

I'd rather see the addition of a 'height gained' column for those of us who have the stats to hand...

What's that? Height gained you said? Okay - that's in. I've tidied up the sort as well - column headers now invoke the appropriate sort instead of a dropdown + button. The default sort order is YTD miles so the YTD col hdr or the ID col [labelled 'Sort'] will put the list back to its default order.

We now break out those who are bothererd and those who aren't - if you don't update your stats for 3 weeks relegation beckons to the 2nd division. The full user base is listed further down the main page, but it needs some incentive for users to keep their stats topped up. This should help.

    Hello Chris

I've inaugarated the height gained column! Thanks for doing it - dunno if people will bother but worth a shot anyway. One small point - it says, for consistency, use metres. I know that is for comparitive purposes but, since the mileage is in, well, miles, can't we keep the height imperial as well? Metres just isn't right

Anyway, for once I am at the top of the tree, leading by 19,000 metres :D

    Chris -

Looks like Christoph3967 has been moved to Division 2 but still comes up in the barebones stats for Division1 ? Is this correct?

I think I'll try to work out my route elevation later today - s'pose this means i'm going to have to start cycling over Shooters hill now and not around - although that will impact on my mileage. :?

Where did you work your cimb out and I'd like to second use of feet not metres, just for consistency and becasue I'm an old git who still uses imperial. 8)

Not sure I agree with those divisions, the point of the league was YTD mileage, I do see the point of showing those that post more regularly in different tables but perhaps the other way around, full table first then perhaps divisions.

One more point surely gain would be in feet? see first post...
