Some of us don't feel so bad at failing to MTFU and get on the bike this morning I'll think of you on my way home in my nice, warm, dry air conditioned euro box
After the loudest thunderclap I've ever heard, we're nearly in the sun here in Kensington. And the weather's moving west - east, so it'll be with you all soon.0 -

Bit of tidy up - this is how it stands, srted on July. I've been past 509 for a few days.0 -
CIB - I copied the last table in this thread. I've tried to update my 500 miles but couldn't do it. Why's that?FCN 2-4.

Dunno - it works for me. I've added the 'Last Update' update code to the YTD adjust page; this was deliberately left off originally but as some users only update the YTD instead of adding miles it can go in there too. Try an update and see if it holds. It did for me though.

I've clicked on my name, then updated the WTD figure to include the July-so-far figure and then manually amended the YTD figure. That shows I have 136 miles to reach my target. Woo hoo! I'm with a shout of breaking 1,000 miles this month.FCN 2-4.

Yay! Completed my target on Friday, although realised that it was far too low for the month.
So now aiming for 550 for the end of the month, and maybe 600 for next month. I didn't like work/family anyway :twisted:Giant Escape R1

I didn't do any miles over the weekend. Weather was crappy and I felt lazy. Also my P* count has now gone up to 3.
On the plus side - I bought a new battery for my "solar" computer - so another incentive tio keep racking up the miles.
Keep going Chris - I've missed having you right there behind me0 -

For newcomers, and those with a short memory, me included, the stats page isn't showing the WTD figure for miles added this week. It's a quirk of the data design and the fact that it's weekly driven; every few weeks a new month starts and the WTD query doesn't correctly resolve the week no against the month - week 31 is July and August. From the 1st of the new month it'll all sort itself out again, until next month. Trouble is this month the 1st doesn't happen until the end of the week so it's a whole week of empty WTD column. Live with it is the best advice; in the meantime, feel free to chunter quietly at it. It might get fixed one day, but it's a faff tbh.0

Argghhh
I've got to find 80 miles a month more to have any hope of breaking into the top ten by month.
I need to bail out now and pretend I don't care or extend my route.......
Hmmmmmm
20 days a month......
80 miles to find.......
4 miles a day.
2 miles a trip......
Right then.
I'm off to bikely.
Edited to add
Great! When I bikely'ed my route it came in at 17.1 miles! I've got two miles a trip for free!
I need do nothing!Fixed gear for wet weather / hairy roadie for posing in the sun.

Still to get home too. That'll be it then - I reckon I should close down the stats pages once I get home and hit 10th spot tonight. Job done.
That was a good run: headwind most of the way but managed to get myself tucked in behind a slowly accelerating truck and got dragged up to 45mph before he moved away and the wind slowed me again. And had a a double dose of nice girls on horses c/w cheery wave & smile. Nice.0 -
