Jeez - that _was_ a good ride.
Nice one.0 -

Especially as I probably can't ride tomorrow (we'll see - still negotiating that point) and also definitely can't do Thursday because of work commitments.

Good luck .. see you there. Reckon the top places need a bit of a change.0

Hopefully moving house next month, so I'll be taking the rest of my holiday in August and my Sunday club runs are going to be limited
Should get extra commuting miles in thoughDolan Preffisio

don't know anyone who would do that0 -
Just started to wonder if I can make the top 10...I used to just ride my bike to work but now I find myself going out looking for bigger and bigger hills.0

I'm struggling to hold a place in the top 30!
Not due to lack of motivation more lack of mechanical ability and not having an n+1 that works...."If you always do what you've always done, you'll always get what you've always got."

Day off and a pleasant (albeit warm) 75 miles inbetween the school run.0

Finished off the Strava Rapha Rising climbing challenge last night .. or rather it finished me off (padummtsh!)
Day off today to let legs recover.0 -

Good effort - I'm still just short of 5000 metres and having a hard time of it with this weather. I just flake out as soon as I get home. I'll probably string it out til Sunday but it will get done! :xFaster than a tent.......0 -
The penultimate climb of last night was the closest I've ever coming to giving up on a climb. I was out of the seat and staring down at the road - rocking from side to side as I went up the steepest part of that hill right at the start of the climb. It was purely a mental thing. But then I remembered I'm a stubborn b@gger and just keep on going :-)
As for the heat - I've found the High5 zero tabs a revelation in this weather .. that and using my buff as a head band to keep the sweat out of my eyes.0 -

I was down at 29th back in April (as I had to ride a n+1 a size or two too small for two weeks), you can do it.I used to just ride my bike to work but now I find myself going out looking for bigger and bigger hills.0 -

Don't have a target as such but 10,000 is looking like game on, again (I'd rather it wasn't, flogged myself at the end of last year to do that!)
Stopped Strava'ing my commutes but should manage 4000 non commuting miles, rather than ~3500 combined miles last year.0 -
Don't think I'm going to make 12k. Holiday at the end of August without the bike and hopefully moving to a house (which needs "work") in September so I don't think I'm going to get many more Sunday club runs in. Should make 11k+ though.Dolan Preffisio

I'm within a few miles of overtaking last years total mileage- so happy with that 8)
Still not sure if doing more miles is a good or bad thing though (from a getting "better" perspective).0 -
I shoudl add that my Goal was around 8k miles, I have had way to many days off the bike for that. Next year I'll doubt I'll get anywhere near it."If you always do what you've always done, you'll always get what you've always got."

on target for 14k, possibly pushing 15k but it tails off towards the end of the year, so I think that's unlikely0
-
Good work people! 15k though
Are you that German chap on Endomono who does around 100 miles A DAY?0 -
No, if I were then I'd be looking at circa 25 - 30k, he clearly is retired or has nothing better to do.0

He's a machine 8)0 -
that or he's a team of people, I really don't get why people post false workouts on the site just in order to get to the top of a challenge.0

I've completed 62% of my annual target which means I'm approx 14 days ahead of schedule and 39 days ahead of last year.I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.0
