Etiquette question - if I were to join this now, should I input data from January to be on a par with others, or would that be bad form and should I just input miles from date of joining?
And what is the significance of the colours in the left hand columns?

No, perfectly fine to start from Jan (ideally, enter at least totals for each month rather than just bunging it in as one big mileage from may as that distorts month rankings) as long as you haven't done more miles than me. Duff etiquette is more about not filling miles in regularly and the cardinal sin - logging turbo miles as real miles!
The red or green colours just indicate if you have gained or lost places and the brown if you have updated today.Faster than a tent.......0 -

OK thanks - and don't worry, I won't be contending the top rankings!0 -
Will tick over into 19xx miles by time I get home from work tomorrow night which might not be much compared to those in the top 30 but compared to last year I was at this point in the last week of June.I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.0

Just realised that most of the miles that I have done this year, are acutual commuting miles (time commitments and general idleness at the weekends mean few if any miles).
Must MTFU and get some extra miles in."If you always do what you've always done, you'll always get what you've always got."

Hve just signed up to the stats for the first time. Which puts me straight in at 58 for the year - which is probably unforgivable in some ways - it is from Strava I promise! but overall is pretty rubbish I guess.

I update my total mileage at least once a week. But I don't have an easy way of tracking my mileage per month. I suppose I could go back to the start. What do you mean you think 64cm is a big frame?0
