What's tapering?0
-
I don't know but I think it involves restraints of some kind ....Specialized Roubaix Pro SL : Litespeed Titanium Siena : Specialized Allez : Specialized Tri Cross :
Specialized Rockhopper0 -
I think it involves being locked in a padded room with said cyclist rocking gently backwards and forwards in the corner muttering 'I can do 1500 miles this month.......no realy I can'
Me, I saw the men in white coats coming and made my escapepain is temporary, the glory of beating your mates to the top of the hill lasts forever.....................

I'm going to be on 1000 by the end of the week but I've got quite a few meetings arranged in the final week of the month (bad planning I know) and I need to start tapering down for the Dragon as well.
Pah you're all going soft Tapering for the Dragon already, sounds like a poor excuse to me, that's still 3 weeks way
It was never like this in my day

Yes. Miles on the bike is miles. But not turbo miles. They don't count.
Edit - I reckon JoGLE counts as a proper bike ride in anybody's book. Good luck with it.0 -

I commute on an old MTB just for fun,so i never have computer on this bike.I count this as time off for good behaviour on the road bike.Nothing wrong with a dunce's hat,if you keep your head down the pointy end cuts through the air better allowing a faster walking speedTT photos http://www.flickr.com/photos/steverob/0 -
