Right, we need to move quick, I have 7 days to get food choices and deposit to the pub. Deposit is £10/head. Out of towners can do Paypal gift or bank transfer for the deposit, PM me for details. Food choices from the Xmas Ala Carte menu.

Kate has helpfully given me an Excel spreadsheet for the geek in me to fill in.
I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.

Hopefully the deposit money should be in your account pretty soon.

    Arr, see y'all tonight!

Unfortunately I'm up at 6am to drive to my next placement school in Cheltenham tomorrow, so it'll be no drinkies or late night for me as I need to look mildly respectable early tomorrow morn...

Contrary to rumours, we can organise a pi$$ up in a brewery  After a slow start we got this off the ground and had a good time. Good food, if the servings were a little small, and good company. Thanks to all those who came, including those who will be getting home tuesday morning.

We could hit the Dolphin, Bird in Hand or Jolly Sailor along the Bristol to Bath cyclepath in the days between xmas and new year. I'll be on the SS more than likely.

I've just checked the calendar and Monday 27th would be the only day other than the 31st that I could do (why is it that we have kids and wives that have to work so we can afford 'em?).

You send your children out to work? You monster.
27th & 29th are out for me due to wife working, and I have no idea what's going on any of the other days either. If you arrange something, I'll turn up if I can. Note to self: must fix gear cable before then.

  • Only day I cannot do is 28th, all other dates ok, back to work on Tues 4th.

  • Might be able to do 27th at a push but even that is unlikely as I'm probably going away that day until early Jan. Shame as a post Christmas social ride would have been nice.

Can't do anything at all until next year... :(
    Rules are for fools.
  • So are we going to try & make a date of it then??

I'll start the bidding at 27th Dec, weather permitting.

I know trying to organise another meet-up before you've had the next one is a bit shit, but can anyone make the 17th/18th/19th Jan? It's about the time the "miserablist day of the year" happens and a ride and beer might lift the spirits?
    Rules are for fools.
  • I'm up for whatever to be honest, my only worry is there's little sign of temps improving & the cycle paths are likely to be mighty icy.
