@redvee. That car behind must have jumped the lights too. Were the lights faulty?

Not sure TBH. Went through the lights today without incident. My light was green, the opposing light was red. If the lights were faulty yesterday then they were fixed during the day.

In other news, the other video with the taxi was reported to the taxi licensing people in Bristol and has illicited a response. The driver has been identified and appropriate action will be taken, as to what action that will be I haven't been told. Will chase the matter up in a few days.

Forgot to post this yesterday. A close pass then hits the brakes. In all honesty I can see the driver being a little peeved as I plonked myself in the ASL at a previous set of lights

A thursday evening commute home before 17:00. I went to the trouble of converting the mov file to an avi to add a suitable audio background and youtube say I broke the rules :(

You drive past pretty many cars! Isn't that thrilling when you're on the bike?
Atleast my adrenaline starts pumping when I pass cars, but that doesn't happy pretty often where I live, so I'm not really used to it.

I admire you guys who chose to bicycle in london, I'm amazed by the amount of traffic and that you guys still keep on hammering with pretty high speeds!
Love watching all your videos and watch people doing pretty risky and stupid things. People don't realize it's their life they're risking.
    Keep the videos coming! :D

    OK!

Here's one I mad yesterday, a compilation of traffic jams in London. I wanted to highlight the benefits of cycling vs traffic jams.

According to YouTube, the music won't be heard in Germany - copyright issues with Temper Trap, me thinks. These damn auusies...!

    Anyway, enjoy!

Good little vid. As posted on a certain video portal.
Couldn't see it but I bet nearly all of the cars apart from the cabs were single occupancy.

Well okay, I can see the benefits when the queues are that big, but where I live the longest queue lasts 2 mins and the distance I usually travel requires a decent fitness.

Jesus, you would be forgiven for thinking the traffic on the right was a car park.

Wish I had my cam on today - a woman in a 206 completely cut me up and clipped my front wheel causing my bars to spin violently into the back of her car and my front tire to rub down the side of the car as she came smashing past me, can't believe I stayed on the bike. Another 6 inches closer and she would have completely taken my front end out. To make things worse she slowed to see if I was on the ground and when she realised I wasn't she just drove off. I didn't get the plate but I'm reporting it tomorrow. Luckily there's no damage to the bike, it only pushed the bars off line by about 30 degrees. Fucking idiot.

Sort of ninja cyclist. Front & rear lights but nothing from the sides, hard to pick out even with the headlights from the cars coming towards me.

I think the bike pulled out in front of the car, the car beeped him, and he didn't like it. I wasn't aware of any previous interaction between them

Did seem a bit odd at the time

How are you going to report her though if you di not get the plates? CCTV?

A ped expecting the worst, if he'd crossed 10 seconds later then I would have understood his caution.

A pair of peds crossing the road but not looking both ways.

A ped crossing a bit too early, traffic is still flowing and I trigger the lights to amber as I pass them.

Another flock of peds crossing the road too early, this crossing is within 50yds of a roundabout in Bristol.

How the hell fast did you accelerate off the lights?????

(Oh, and if I'd been that woman trying to cross and being held up by the RLJ - he would've been horizontal in the road in front of me... grrr....)

Bit strange this one. Approaching a junction, look right for traffic then left and get shouted at by a ped walking on the road on the outside of a parked car and she tells me to look where I'm going :?
