Sorry lads i slept through the alarm...If ya aint 1st, yer last!!!0
-
Or you woke up and switched on the tv,saw the weather, and went back under the duvet pete
Ride was a fun 16 miles to say the least, got caught in a heavy downpour with 3 miles to go,and the last downhill was slippery, which was made even worse seeing as the nice sand from the moors had destroyed my brake pads, leaving me with no brakes
Should of listened to giggsmaster and gone to the peaks instead
Im not to sure where we are going on next ride yet,but it will be next saturday or sunday,as soon as i find out,ill post details on here, for everyone.0 -

No worries richie63,it will be a nice easy ride out,as giggsmaster will be out with us,and he is still recovering from his off on the WHW.
Had a nice ride out on the moors today with sl2371,started in Hawnby and made our way upto and down Black Hambleton, ive never seen anyone with a bigger grin then sl2371 had at the bottom of it .
Made our way back over Locker bank and back to Arden Great Moor, and followed the Cleaveland Way,taking the descent to Boltby Forest, and ride through it to the climb upto High Paradise Farm, then the descent past Gowerdale Wood/Sunnybank Farm and back to the car in Hawnby,19.3 miles in 2 and half hours.0 -
Stop press .. Just been told I'm off to the Clipper platform for the next 8 days so have to catch up with you on another ride. Shame, I really enjoyed the company and ride in the peaks and was looking forward to this oneI'm going to blow the bank on a new build ( within reason ) NOW DONE!!

Aye, looking forward to a nice hot days riding in the Peaks. Is Barkey not joining us then?
Just been for a good 6 mile hike upto Levers Water above Coniston today. Loved climbing up, but coming down was a different matter. I should have been on 2 wheels for the descent, would have made a good DH. Shame it's a footpath though, very rocky, not that I would have rode it at the mo.....0 -

Nice1 barkey, when i was out with simon on tuesday,he said you can get a lift with him if you was going.
