Blackley Hey is a real arm burner haha I couldn't stretch out my fingers when I got to the bottom last time. I always like riding round Ladybower, just wish I was fitter!!! Will send you a message on Facebook if I'm not climbing :)

cheers for today pete, was nice to have some company, still laughing at youre comment after coming down blackley hey..."interesting"

over all,19 miles in 3 hours...wet/windy and cold, but a lot of fun....they are re-laying the path on the roman road just before you get to hope cross, which has spoilt it a bit,as its very loose at mo........the descent down at bottom of whinstone lee tor was bone dry.......descent down blackley hey was slippery due to the rain that hit us......and the last descent down suicide brakes was very wet and boggy at top,and wet all the way down(nothing changes with that tho  )...great ride tho, hopefully be back over again on 29 may.

Aye, that's a good ride in the Peaks. I'm looking to be back on my hardtail doing some road miles by the the end of the month, hopefully.... Then, off roading by end of June, fingers crossed.

Anyway, here are a few pics from the epic that was the WHW, with most of them taken on Conic Hill.....

    word up y'all.

sunday 21st august, skyride is in hull. the streets around the city centre will be shut and 8000 cyclists are taking over.

im in talks with the sky lot at the minute, so if anyone can produce some ride guides or wants to organise anything, let me know, so i can get some stuff together and drag a few more members onto our rides.

also, went the local route on wed and the downhill section from the camp heading south has been fenced off. ARSE! :(

i didnt make it,as i had to cancel due to a "BBQ" at the mother in laws which i didnt want to go to,only to find out late last night that i didnt have to go to the "BBQ",so it was a bit late to sort something out,and i had snapped my chain at dalby on friday,so now need a new chain and rear cassette.
