However, I am quite taken with the new Specialized SX Trail, it looks a good bike and is getting good reviews.....

Ho hum, I am off to The concept store, or Evans at the weekend to have a look about...

Crikey this is worse than shopping for a car, at least I know a bit about them!

I got the 2008 Specialized SX trail and its about unbrakable and very stable on the rough stuff.

hi guys i have a fuel ex8 and i love it, i also have a pace 303 hardtail the fuel is lighter and climbs better and faster. i usedto have a cannondale jekyll which was a good bike but i think the fuel is better

I agree with sl2371 I was really impressed with the fuel ex it was a really quick bike. I prefare my remedy mainly because i can get my weight further back for the steep stuff and handles downhill better.

The SX trail everyone I have spoken to who has ridden one have nothing but good things to say and 09 frames looks stunning. You could also go for a the in bike spicy 516 from welovemountains based at Rock City on Hawthorn Ave.

at the end of the day there are a lot of great bikes out there try a few out, its a lot of money your spending.

I dropped off the fuel ex at KE but mojo still not sorted out the shock so it's gonna be fall'tastic in France on the hard tail .

I was behind, you if it was you, in a big white 4x4 - tried to catch you up to say hi

Ay, it was me off to pick me bro up. I've always kept my eye out for a white 4x4 since you mentioned it on this thread along time ago, thought it might have been you.

Not good at all that quake. Think I need my rear shock servicing, which means sending it away, but at the moment I just don't want to be without the bike. So, I think I would definitely be tearing my hair out if I didn't have a bike at all, especially with the Easter hols.

Nice pics from both you and your bro! Think next time if i took abit more food with me, I would of been for some of those climbs. Usual case of just not getting out enough between rides i suspect! To be fair, anything like yesturday would be fine mate, the rides ive done on the moors is just about the same as yesturdays. Apart from that just done trail centres, so Id be happy with doing similar again!

Hey guys long time i no post, would like to add another to the riding nubers sometime soon or at least when ive got my finger out and got myself some riding gear and a lid!

Not been out on my bike at all this year cos im a lot lazier than i though and nearly died on my last ride which will probably amuse matt as it wasn t that bad (skidby to south cave and a couple of other loaclish areas)

Please feel free to abuse me and tease me into riding again as ive been massively lazy and need to break the habit, cheers peeps!

Well the car is new to me, not brand new - I am not a fancy pants, with a brand new little ferrari!

Yes I bought the bike from Evans, which I dont like to do, I like LBS: but they had the last one!!

Bought using finance, opposed to savings, as its 0% Oh and I got £270 worth of free specialized stuff: shoes, tyres, tubes, CO2 pump, and a carbon deviant helmet, that is going on ebay!

BTW I got my new Marin bike through the Cyclescheme, our school does. So I am up for a ride when its convinient?

Rory - we could go in your car? I will pay the entrance fee (need a new disc) and then go to the visitors centre and buy a season pass. Let me know what free time you have?

Altern_8: not sure my little Marin will be up to the terrain you epic guys do. Will have to wait for the spesh maybe. But if you are doing a road or light ride I woulld like to meet up and come with you?
