Smart i was gonna get the remedy 7 and they were askin £2000 so an extra £400 for the top model is a steal. Cos it came with the SLX stuff was gonna swap it with all the XT i have on my current hardtail. Love it to bits.....just love the remedy more. A test ride would be lovely. But thats just wishful thinking.

So 7.15 it will be tomorow then Barkey, just cleaned the bike this afternoon, the chain is completely rusted over, so much grit and grime has managed to make its way inside. The bike shop at purple mountain will sell chains wont they? Quake hope your cleared of your cold symptoms :D

I've tried degreasing it in a bucket this afternoon and the links just dont budge. I bellieve the chain has seen better days, plus chains aint too expensive really. Hopefully i can get one with the sram quick release gold link.

I've got a few power links if you can only get shimano and I can pull off the new chain of the hardtail for just in case if you want.

hmmm not to sure to be honest i usually just fill it before i set off although our last ride i used up all my water any very quickly i started to become dehydrated. The purple mountain cafe may have some facility. Will this be your first time at dalby or are you regular there?
