Smart i was gonna get the remedy 7 and they were askin £2000 so an extra £400 for the top model is a steal. Cos it came with the SLX stuff was gonna swap it with all the XT i have on my current hardtail. Love it to bits.....just love the remedy more. A test ride would be lovely. But thats just wishful thinking.0 -
Morning chaps, Rob wont be comeing but I am still looking forward to a blast through the forest.
Will we go at normal time Rory?0 -

They certainly do, so we are hopefully, aiming for a 8-9 leaving tommorow morning, and that is british summer time!0
-
hi guys are you going local tomorrow if you are i would like to join you0
-
We are going to Dalby hopefully, where are you from?0
-
So 7.15 it will be tomorow then Barkey, just cleaned the bike this afternoon, the chain is completely rusted over, so much grit and grime has managed to make its way inside. The bike shop at purple mountain will sell chains wont they? Quake hope your cleared of your cold symptoms0
-
Hi there, yeah I am ready and raring to go!
Err, Chain, yes they have them there.....0 -
good good. Lets hope they can fit it also, i mean i have a chain breaker tool but not so sure on the length and number of links to take out. How are your skills?0
-
Rory cant you degrease and re lube it if, I've got all the cleaning stuff if needed or is it really bad ?
anyway see you at 7:!50 -
I've tried degreasing it in a bucket this afternoon and the links just dont budge. I bellieve the chain has seen better days, plus chains aint too expensive really. Hopefully i can get one with the sram quick release gold link.0
-
I've got a few power links if you can only get shimano and I can pull off the new chain of the hardtail for just in case if you want.0
-
Thats good of you Barkey, think Quake has already offered to pull the chain off his miss' bike not sure, but a few of those power links wouldnt go a miss0
-
I always carry a few in my back pack had one too many snapped chains to be with out them.
can you fill your hydration bladder once there?0 -
hmmm not to sure to be honest i usually just fill it before i set off although our last ride i used up all my water any very quickly i started to become dehydrated. The purple mountain cafe may have some facility. Will this be your first time at dalby or are you regular there?0
