Hi guys. Can you keep a look out for my bike? It goes without saying what it is!!!

It was stolen from my shed last night between 10:30pm and 1:30am. Spent a while combing the estates around me to see if anyone was seen riding it, as I think we got disturbed as the person made thier getaway!

    Distinquishing marks:
    1) Marzocchi 888 RC3 WC 2008 forks.
    2) Long scratches underneath the down tube.
    3) Raceface RIDE DH crankset.
    4) The front wheel had a red dust cap, the back, black.

Thanks. Needless to say I am gutted

if you can post pic of it and frame number in the Classifieds and Stolen sections of the forum and keep an eye on thief bay.

That is just the worst luck Quake, as Barkey says, you just cant have anything nowdays, im just gutted for you pal. My sister and dad both work in the police, sister on brandsholme and dad at preston road, will let them know of the situation and ask them to get back to me if any others radio in about stolen bikes. It is one hell of a bike that does stand out so fingers crossed someone will find it.

Thanks Rory, I will probably have to plan for the worst and get new bike at some point.
Guess we will not be going to Dalby this sunday!

How was it out with Barkey, what route did you do?

I got the car, I had my eye on, so we will have cheap motoring to Dalby! £10 in fuel total, as it does 48mpg! So hopefully we could have a terk to Wales some time, or fllow these lads where they go?
    Regards, Darren

check out the treks, I'm taking the Fuel Ex back to KE tomorrow maybe you can get it for the weekend, I can always ask phi if its been booked out.

I just saw your post about new bike trek sessions are awesome bike, have you thought about a remedy, I think KE can get a R8 in for a demo.

    No just the bike!

Been to Ken Ellerker and Freetown. Just dont know what to do.

At Ellerkers they said the Fuel was out on demo, I liked the remedy, but the guy said I would be better to have a Fuel? I like the Remedy more, and prefer the session 88, even more. I love a plush ride!

it's going back tomorrow, so I can ask if you can have it for the weekend plus you can see what you think of it. I really rate it and if was not for france it's what I would go its a nice bike.

personally I think the session is a bit over kill plus it's only single front ring, so you might find the remedy to be great in-between.

if you email me your number and when I drop it off I can send you txt to let you know.

Yeah same thing happened to me Quake, went in there tempted to buy the remedy 7 and they kept telling me the Fuel was just a good as, but if thats the case why would they not just let me stick to my guns and have the remedy. The ride was not too good really on sunday.......once again apologies Barkey. Tried getting away with just a new chain but the thing kept skipping on any gradient. I think im gonna need a new casette :( would rather have a new bike i know that much. Its not fair

i fitted a new chain to my dale, found it worked ok,no skipping,id take it sumwhere else mate and just get youre front and rear mech tuned up mate,i took mine to place on bev road near inglemire lane(doug scott's) when my chain started slipping, cost me £5 and they only had bike half hour,it was better then taking it to a main dealer...................got to realise as well mate,if youre chain/mech's are clogged up or you have been over rough ground this could make it skip as well..............hope this helps?????
