I'm off with Altern8 and Matt tomorrow, I don't see there being a problem with you joining us. I think we are going to set off from Edale carpark at about 1100ish, get there to set the bikes up at about 1030ish.

Did you see that we are doing the route in the reverse to what it is shown in Mbr, let us know if you can make it or not...?

no worries mate, like giggsmaster said, starting in edale train station car park, we are getting there about 10-30.......we will be in a silver focus estate, with a kona and a scott on roof and a specialized in back............doing route opp way round to mbr as we have rode most of it before, and the way mbr have it,the uphills are long and downhills short,so hence why we are doing it opp way round mate........

giggmaster is going to check on here in morn b4 we set off to see if you still want to join us,the more the merrier for us,just hope youre not super fit,lol

Cheers for todays route lads, loved all of it (even the epic road climb). altern_8, hope your ackle gets better soon mate, was going well until then! As for my forks, I'll see what Evans say about them when I take it though to them at York... Tempted if i can afford it to get some second hand Fox 36's as otherwise i could be bikeless for a while and lose everything Ive done over the last month or so!

Cant wait to do more rides in the peaks :D Giggsmaster, if we are going to do another ride in next week, I'll take the forks on the saturday after, so at least we can get a ride in.

Todays pics, perfect weather for the ride and taking pics :D

Yeah I need to get a way of carrying the bikes on my car. Popular thinking is a roof rack and the ubiqitious cycle carriers, which I have 3 of.

Dont want to get a tow-bar!

Want to take the SX a thrash!!!!!

Yeah I know what you mean I got my remedy back today I haven't ridden it for about a month and really want to get back on it and give it a good thrash as well. The local downhill run with jumps and what not has had digger driven down it and flattened it all :(

Well I'm always up for a ride, me and Rory went for a local ride seemed a shame to waste decent day. It's not the most exciting ride but there are few decent spots and it is more than enough to give the legs a good stretch.

Anyway going to order my new seat now and when I get it I'll make sure tighten the seat post bolt enough this time.

Been to Dalby today, its very fast and a pleasure to ride at the moment. Although we just took the blue from the vistors centre, then joined the red at gate 27. Nice easy afternoons ride really, however just after we joined the tarmac road back into Low Dalby, my broken forks went BANG! So i'm now bikeless, as its at Evans in York getting the forks fixed..

Giggsmaster; Sorry mate, i wont be able to make the ride planned for Friday. I'll drop you the money off at your house. I'll pop it through your letter box in an envelope on the way back from Uni.

altern_8, that last pic worries me. In October I broke my foot and ribs, and the bruise pattern on your foot looks like the bruise pattern I got when I avulsed my fifth metatarsal.

Basically, if you went over on your ankle that hard, there's a chance that a large tendon pulled off a fragment of bone. If you have any pain at all in the outside of your foot, please get an x-ray. I put it off and wished I hadn't

No worries mate, so not to good about the forks. Have you found out how much it is going to cost yet.

Depending on what the weather is going to be like, looks like I might join up with Freetown Sports on Wednesday night around Dalby. Then probably look to do an epic on my own on Friday before my ban kicks in......

i went for x-ray soon as i got back from peaks mate, our lass took me,soon as the doc saw it he touched my instep near ankle and i was in agony,i could of punched him,and he said i had broken it..........sent me for xray but came back clear, doc 4ought it was deff broken but nothing showed on xray of ankle,he said he was deff sure id smashed ankle to bits and i would of had to have a opp.......said i had just strained ligaments both sides of ankle, and i was lucky...........did say tho if i couldnt walk on it by middle of week to go back to hospital

i was ok sunday, hardly any pain, but today im in agony, even just sat with leg up hurts like hell..........

thanks for advice mate, ill keep a eye on it,as they didnt do xray of top of foot for metatarsal damage, just 2 xrays of my ankle........
