looking at doing a moors ride this saturday,it starts in cockayne(north of helmsley)......looking at meeting up at 9-30am for a 10am start.

ride is 18 miles long,with some short but steep climbs,but some brilliant long fast descents,giving ourself's 5 hours to do this ride,which should be easy enough time.......link for ride will be posted by giggsmaster 2mor.......everyone welcome to join up.

barkey....it includes "the incline",but we are looking at maybe giving it a miss,and going up anouther way we have rode once,all depends on time,and how we are feeling,as giggs has to be back home by 5pm.

I was going to post in a day or so to see if anyone could enlighten us on the current state of the Moors, whether the snow has come down heavy or not.

We were up there at the beginning of the year after the last lot of snow, it wasn't very nice pushing across miles of the white stuff.... :P

too much snow when I went out, it was going all the way over the rotors so I reckon about 16 inches. so hard going might try again in a few days.

well, now the snow is here and the shop goes quiet for a couple of months.... i have decided to build two new full sus bikes to add to the stable. i should be ready to roll with the first one around the end of feb, with the second about april time??
cant say too much as yet, but the first one is going to utilise my £500 rock shocks and an i drive frame.... time to work on my spraying and pinstriping skills! :shock:

Wondered if you had any weekend rides booked in for the new year? signed up for my first Enduro so need some hard riders to get me fit...which I can't find so i'm calling on you two instead!! Only joking!

our kid was on about giving it a miss till new year,hopefully if weather aint to bad we will be out riding again then......i was thinking of trying to get out before weekend for a ride somewhere,even a blast round dalby would do me,as aint been out for 3 weeks.

I ain't cleaned my bike since the last time we went out, I'm feeling bit guilty about it...
