You're OK, Dan said he is going to make an appearance on his Cyclo-X this week, V-Brakes and everything....

There is a route over Old Cote Moor on one of them CD's (Buckden & Littondale), see what you think. Only 12 miles, but we could add on that last DH we missed on Sunday.

ill be flying uphill tho mate, then again i was last sunday on my scott, just ask giggs and barkey who had to keep waiting for them  ,and who had to go back down a hill to find giggs's shades as they were shall we say tired

ride looks good, short but 3 tough climbs upto 600/550 and 525 metres, but what goes up must come down...ill just carry onto the downhills and wait for you to pass me

nice little ride in dales today, buckden+littondale,we only managed 10 miles of the 15 we had planned,as my v-brakes on my 10 year old hardtail said enough is enough with the grit and water, cant wait to get my full suss back from lbs.....a lot of hike-a-bike as the first uphill was unrideable, was fun tho, lots of laughter was had by all tho.couple of pics from today......

  • Aye, it twas a good ride, if a tad hard in places.

Some punishing uphills, but a couple of good long DH's, with a bit of everything thrown in.

Looking at doing a ride in the same area of the Yorkshire Dales in couple of weeks time (21st November) if anyone is interested. Here is the route, Buckden Loop. There is a little bit of road unfortunately, but nice off-roading to be had.

    Some pics from today.

it had a bit of everything that downhill mate, started off on grassy slopes which where steep in parts.....then turned to singletrack with grass and rocks......then it was more singletrack with rocks and tree roots with a 100ft+ drop to the right.......then onto what you see in the picture with the leaves covering rocks/boulders and drop offs........then onto a farmers field with more of the above.

giggs 3rd and 4th pic are on same downhill.
  • now then, now then, roll up for next years ride guys! mull to hull!
450 miles. anyone up for it?

Bike is working out very well. Still seems to climb ok and gives me great confidence going downhill. I think I could push it a bit more though, its just letting the baby go....

the bastards took both my bikes again so i am giving up mountain biking and getting another road bike and keeping that in the house

    a white orange p7
and silver specialized allez were stolen

i think they reversed something into the garage door to force it of it's hinges

    Not good mate!!!!

They must have had an eye on you to chance breaking in. You never know who is watching you. Do you reckon it could be the same tossers?

Good idea about keeping the new bike in the house, road bikes are a tad cleaner.
