Hi, my runabout bike has collapsed its bottom bracket, guess I will be going to Freetown to get a new one fitted tonight!

I will hopefully get to the Waggoners on time, otherwise I will meet up next time.....

    Suppose its an upgrade opportunity.

Altern_8: I am always up for a ride, week on sunday is fine for me if you want to meet up, I'd most likely be doing it anyway and yes I did it today .

Megocorp: Me and Rory both live in Hessle, your more than welcome to meet up before a week on sunday. We mainly ride out to Brantingham and it has some nice little sections in it. Some times we go into Humber park for an hour or so to practice something a bit more technical.

yeah its all from these board well for me anyway and I am in my late 20's

Megocorp: I regularly ride my hardtail locally because it's cheaper and easier to maintain, so don't worry about it not being up to it.

Matt: I made a purchase that I think you would approve of shame they didn't have white one in stock.

Hey how did the ride yesterday from Wawne, go on? I have ended up spending a load of money at Freetown to get a new bottom bracket etc, for my bike!

Sadly I did not get back until 5:30, then I was going to come on the SX, but thought you guys will have headed off by then!

Doing my Trail leaders qualification this weekend, in Harrogate.

No worries, it was a nice little run out. Quite a bit of it on road, with 1-1.5 mile of bridleway heading out to Skirlagh. On way back from Swine probably did about 2-3 mile on bridleway. Like our kid said, it was about 20 mile in total.

I'm thinking of taking my bike in for a yearly service, thing is, I can see its going to cost quite a bit of dosh. Needs new headset, bottom bracket and rear mech. Then the rear shock needs sending away for servicing......

megocorp>me and giggsmaster are mainly xc,but we do like some downhills as well,i use to have a hardtail and only diff to full suss is youre back end bounces around a bit more, and a bit more slower on the downhill sections, but i still use to enjoy myself, ive only had my full suss since aug/sept last year, was riding hardtail all the time upto then......so dont worry about it mate........

sl2371>could always join up with ,me/barkey and matt harper a week on sunday if you can make it??????

prob start humber bridge car park, and head out towards brantingham, barkey will be able to tell you the route better then me,as if i aint been led im rubbish, lol

Been to Dalby today, did the red route in 2hrs 30min ish, alot more fun to ride now its dry :D. Also took the black route descent down from the top of worry gill, and found that it joins some new part of a route, think its perhaps more of the new XC route. First time its been dry enough to really ride that part in a while.

had another go at messing about with video  lol. Did the Skinnys at Dixons Hallow
