Giggsmaster, has your ban kicked in yet? lol. If not, want to arrange a ride whenever your free?

    Matt.

    Now then Matt.

Yeah, unfortunately the ban is already in place for the next four weeks, then I will be out of the country for two weeks after that....

I have been lazy aswell, I ain't bothered with even doing any road riding either for the last two weeks. Think I am going to try and get on my bike tonight for a bit of a jaunt on road.

Cheers for popping that money through the door. Hope you have a good ride at Dalby (jealous....), should be alright its been quite dry recently.

No problem mate, Ill be away for a week in Jersey for the week from the 23rd. Just gonna hit Dalby and do a re run of the Chop Gate route we did if its decent weather. Got some 661 Knee pads, after experiencing what can happen whilst riding I thought it would be a good idea.

Enjoy the next few weeks mate, Congrats!

yeah the one under the bridge it's old quarry so there's no trail in there just little bits a bobs you can practice on like jumps, steep hills , roots and such.

    daz650.

I'm only working part time at the moment and no car during the week, so it's mainly during my off days and weekend if I cant get anywhere. It's nothing special upto Brantingham just bridle paths but it's good for keeping you fit.

I'll be out for a ride tomorrow.

I'I can't do wed evening, I am working late on Thursday, so I don't have to be until 2pm, I can do early start on Thursday or a Friday evening and Sundays is always a good day.

For me to get to brantingham and back takes about 2 /12 hrs - 3hrs depending on the weather. It's very easy to make the route shorter if needed depending on available time/fitness level.

Should be doing abit of the red on Wednesday night/evening, and perhaps something on friday too. As I'll be finished uni from Wednesday lunch time.

it is a good course mate,or what we saw of it,the first pic is from black route, they where riding down it but on the black you ride up it,brings you out near the wooden bridge at far end of red route, but they have added a bit more in b4 you get there......

hoping to get out on bike this week with bro for a bit of road riding, off to docs wends tho as still got a lot of pain in foot, and ankle is still swollen, bruising has gone tho.....

Well, if your name is Stu, then you need some ankle supports aswell.....

If there is no wind and some sun, that Chop Gate route will be a good one. Hopefully by the time i get back from my Honeymoon the wind will have died down abit.... and I haven't gone overboard on the food and booze while I have been away...

could be there tomorrow pm, but no idea of times. Im going with my friend, so its really whenever he finishes work in the early afternoon.

Hopefully it will be nice and fast riding though :D It was on Wednesday night when we went and did a very casual route around the black. However I was with my friend who is new to anything black graded. Fun though!

Ive been looking at getting some of them, are they 56 or 66 and if they are the 66 spd how flexible is the sole.

after riding a few times with the 66's, i can full recommend them. Very comfy for both biking and walking in and lots of grip whilst peddling too.

Hi all, new to this forum, but I'm from Bev, just got myself a new bike the other week in prep for me joining RAF (got a bit of time to kill till oct)...

Only got a couple of routes atm, old railway track (the one which goes to M.Weighton) and a couple of 10milers... just looking for something 15-20miles with not as much road biking, any routes?

Went to Dalby yesturday, it was an interesting ride. We ended up getting soaked for about 2 hours, which made it fun! However, it was interesting to find out how much grip my bike has in the rain lol. Also lost a nut from my rear surpension linkage.. However I did manage to get a clip of my friend clearing the jumps at Dixons Hallow jump park.

I know some of the people who post on here have a ride from Skidby mill on a sunday... I tend to ride more at Dalby Forest near Scarborough, which has a total of 40miles of offroad trails. Also ride on the North Yorkshire Moors and sometimes the Peaks.
