Did this today... those back roads starting at Arnold are pretty relaxing.

    http://www.mapmyride.com/route/gb/bever ... 0462863993

23m in 2h14m (met up with gf who astonishes me that she can ride so slow and not fall off!)

Me and altern8 chose near enough the same route for a bit of training during the winter months, but maybe the other way round. Like you say the roads around Arnold, Skirlaugh and Benningholme are pretty smooth and fast.

2hrs not a bad time, especially with the other half in tow....

Giggsmaster: The forks feel alot better then they did, after they have been run it. :D

Sorry for the quietness this week, I've been to Jersey! Great place, however not much biking, unless you want lots of road. Could perhaps do a coastal very light XC route mind...

Nice, if only i would of checked on here!

the view from the beaches was too tempting for any biking!!! lol.

MIght get upto Dalby this week (evening) with my mate, need a nut for the supension bolt on the back of my bike though. It seemed to disappeard after my last dalby ride in the rain. Feel like the bolt is held tight in the bolt hole though, must be a threaded bolt. The nut must of just come loose and i didn't check it before riding. Either that, or its another Evans thing, not having much luck with this bike lol. Had New forks, it needs a new back wheel, there play in the front hub, the brake lever is bent, the jockey wheel from the bashguard/chain tensioner has fallen off, the chain broke twice at Dalby a few weeks ago, and now it this bolt....

Its a good job I enjoy riding the thing :D

Although its an excuse for a few upgrades :P

Count me out on that one then, I don't land back till late on the Saturday. I suppose I could always get a train up there from London and get our kid to take my bike across for me....

Don't think the new wife would be chuffed though...,.
