Ive been looking at getting some of them, are they 56 or 66 and if they are the 66 spd how flexible is the sole.

They are the 66's. Got them from Richardsons Cycles in Scarborough today. They are quiet flexable, feel alittle stiff at the moment, but they again they are new. Comfy though, feels like you are wearing normal trainers.

oh I think I might have to invest in pair, my current spd shoes are like football boots very comfy and all but no flex at all in the sole so if you have to walk up a hill it's not the most pleasant experience.

Rory T yeah, I did it a couple of time's just let me know when you want to meet up. we can always go the other way round, make it shorter or longer.

I dont mind at all, I know for a fact I wont be keeping up with yourself the whole way but if you wanted to make it longer by all means can do. Would be good to find somewhere to practice my technical bike handling skills.

we can have a better look in Humber park there some decent little bits in you can string together and maybe come in at a different point at the top. The only problem it can get very busy, also take a look at the bomb hole but you do have to fight the bushes to get to it.

I'd just like to say a massive thank you to the man with two girls who gave me his puncture repair kit after getting a puncture on the TPT in between Hornsea and Hull! And also to the two girls and the lady who lent me their pump to pump the fixed tube back up again! Just in case any of them read this thread..

Good to hear that Matt. I will have to have a go on your bike on a proper descent if you don't mind, then I can see if there is a reason to have a look at getting another bike with bit more travel on it.

The ride at Dalby on Wednesday night with Freetown Sports was a bit tiring, they kept leaving me for dead on the uphills....
