I'm back home in Yokel town safe, sound but bloody cold and very peed off given what happened last night after we left the pub.

I can only repeat the above thanks to O&R for the organisation and the fellow attendees for making it a good get together and for buying me drinks all night despite my attempts to give them money and I do feel guilty over it.

I'm off to bed in a mo.

Unlucky fella. That beats my couple of hours at Brighton station.

    But...

Didn't you think about cycling home? There are plenty of feed stations along the way. Good training. Jen does it before breakfast.

I'm guessing it will be pretty quiet on the SCR front tonight, what with all the outings, revelations and confessions. Lots of talk about the weather & economy

  • I won't be along tonight - I called the Grace family into action and got taken back to Essex last night, so I can have other people to complain to!

 Hopeless. Bit of a limp, and you're virtually hospitalized.

Tsk tsk. The youth of today ... don't know they've been born, the half of them ... I once brought down one of the Kaiser's Zeppelins with a sharpened paper aeroplane *and* I had everything apart from my right arm blown off by a land mine I'd tripped over ...

When's nurse going to come back and turn the television over? I miss Carol Vorderman. She was my favourite. Oh bugger. I think this blanket's wet again...

Right. I had to get up in the morning at ten o'clock at night, half an hour before I went to bed, eat a lump of cold poison, work twenty-nine hours a day down mill, and pay mill owner for permission to come to work, and when we got home, our Dad would kill us, and dance about on our graves singing "Hallelujah."

Now when's someone going to bring me my lunch? I must have been ringing this bell for 20 minutes...

Struggling this month, but maybe Feb.

On another note, and a bit far in advance, but how about a first birthday for SCR at Morpeth in, erm, when was it that this beast was spawned, June?

I may have a free window in June to venture to the centre of the universe once more.

If you do it near the 4th we could call it my birthday party.

When I was 4 it was the Queen's silver jubilee.
My Dad put on a street party (because that's what you did in the seventies) and apparently I was convinced it was all for me..........
