Today's the last day before 3 days WFH so is perfect for a swift half or so. On thursday I may also need to escape the wreckage of my flat halfway through its new boiler installation... *sobs*

Just think of all the Castelli kit you could have bought with that money, Winter 2009 range would have keep you toasty warm

It's true, that thought has been going round my head quite a lot.

  • Oh @rse bandits. I've got a job.

Beer tonight? Or beer tomorrow? Or both?
  • Woop woop - I'd go with both tbh. Congrats.

How very careless of you. My sincere condolences.

I can't do beers tonight, playing football. Not sure how that info might be of relevance to your decision making.

Whoop whoop - congrats! Where will you located?

    I can do Friday Beer.

    Thanks.

In Notting hill (I know) for now.

OK, so Friday it is. Tonight is probably a bad idea TBH, seeing as I've got to shepherd my housemate on her Gary Fisher MTB from Ealing to Euston tomorrow AM... I'll need to have my wits about me.

Tonight is looking doubtful. I'm currently flooding the flats below me. What fun!

Floods = not fun! I've had 2 in my current place. Still at least you're sharing the pain.

Yeah, totally. I'll need a stiff drink after that. And I'm going to have to follow her. I might have to take the Tifosi rather than the Bowery, 8mph on an 88" gear is tricky.

Hell, I may even bring her to beers! That'd be enlightening for her...

Would it be OK if I promise to park my MTB around the corner and arrive on foot?

I think you should park it outside the pub! Sure, it may take some verbal abuse, but we'll lose interest before long.

The Pig can take all manner of abuse! ;)

It has been to the Morpeth before - but last time Killboy was riding it, it had a mangled seat post and the saddle gaffer taped over it. :o

They're about the same age too, so they should be able to play nicely.
  • So, beer.

Let's get back to the important things.

Are people beering tonight? I am better fixed for tomorrow, but could do tonight.

I can do tonight - last day working in London.

I can do tomorrow - not working but weekly train ticket will still let me come in for free!

    Either/or...

(I realise this helps you approximately this much <->*)

I'm a keen todayer, but commitments are not cooperating. :(

More likely I'll escape Swindon early tomorrow and make it for a Friday Afternoon cold one.
