    Ignore DDD

    Oh for the love of....

    On the Morpeth:
You and others I've met previously have done nothing but been welcoming, I can't fault many and there are loads that I've met no matter how briefly who have nothing but my absolute respect and admiration. Many here have served to encourage and frankly nuture my bike-bug, changed my life and here I am today.

My issues with tone or any individuals encountered there or elsewhere are my own. Recommendation? Go with no expectations or preconceptions and make your own mind up on the people you meet there. Judge them fairly and without bias. I'm sure it'll be fun.

Well as a fellow noob, I'll be there tonight - just look for the slightly lost looking chap in a skeleton top (apologies in advance)...

Good stuff, see you there I'll be the 6'5 tattooed guy with stupid beard wearing a red Assos top

Neil, yes as there's a large set of railings there it's easy to cycle to and locking the bike next to the pub is safe as houses

Enjoy your drinking. I am a little jealous, but it is a dry night here in Glasgow and looking forward to getting in a few extra miles on way home.

Would be nice to chat and drink with some like minded people, but it all seems very much to be London centric. (and a little of Brizzle thrown in!!)

Talk like that will get you escorted to the city boundaries and banned now you get yourself to the nearest watering hole tut sweet.... :P

OK, just in case I've accidentally reignited some kind of feud, I have no idea what that's about. No one has said anything lead me to believe I would not be welcome, I was just being polite.
See you all next week I hope.

Unscarred, just get your aris over to the Morpeth with or without bike, intro yourself to the group - buy a round - and trash talk them all, except LiT, TotalNewbie and any other female

Today's the last day before 3 days WFH so is perfect for a swift half or so. On thursday I may also need to escape the wreckage of my flat halfway through its new boiler installation... *sobs*

  • Whisky makes everything better. It also provides central heating, which makes it perfect for incidences of boiler death.
