Oh sorry, I retract that previous statement. He's scary, very scary indeed. If you see him cycling around, I wouldn't scalp him, I'd leave him well alone. Scary.0 -

I appreciate that Thursday has become the new Friday since I disappeared up norf, but if anyone fancies a cheeky Morpeth pint this Friday, I'd be keen.
Will have to bring the BeOne as the Kona (with the freaky long top tube, you know, the one DDD worries about scratching his Carbon Baby :-)) is now residing oop norf, poor baby, all alone during the weekend :-(
Thinking of which, perhaps I should set up a Chapter of SCR in Hull.....0 -

I made a special effort and brought my bike in from Reading for this, since it's my penultimate week working in El Capitale for a while now - be nice to meet the gang. I can do whenever - I've got pretty much sweet fanny adams at work today...

What's the best to get to the pub from chuntering along the embankment btw? I was all for bunny hoping the central bit and swinging in but that might be a tad dangerous...Le Cannon [98 Cannondale M400] [FCN: 8]

If you're coming from the city turn right at Lambeth Bridge on to Horseferry Rd, then take 2nd left on John Islip st, past the back of the tate and left on Ponsonby Place.

A true scalp is not only overtaking someone but leaving them stopped at a set of lights. As you, who have clearly beaten the lights, pummels nothing but the open air ahead. ~ 'DondaddyD'. Player of the Unspoken Game0 -

Enjoy your drinking. I am a little jealous, but it is a dry night here in Glasgow and looking forward to getting in a few extra miles on way home.
Would be nice to chat and drink with some like minded people, but it all seems very much to be London centric. (and a little of Brizzle thrown in!!)"Encyclopaedia is a fetish for very small bicycles"0 -
I would come along, but don't have the bike with me today and I'm off the booze in an effort to lose weight and go up hills faster. I'll try and make it next week - assuming an uter noob is welcome :?FCN 6 in the week on the shiny new single speed.

Do people bring bikes, normally?
It is a bit like meeting up on an industrial estate with our XR3s? But with Staropramen and pork scratchings thrown in?
Might chance it one Friday soon. No laughing at my chopper.0
