  • Well, problem is that if I leave NOW I'll hit rush hour, so it'll probably take me 2 hours to get to Ealing, so I'll be there at 1945, and then you know roughly how long it takes from Ealing to Pimlico.

Hmmm. Will anyone still be there at 8:30? (Faffing time allowance)

    @ Brun - Avatarist.
Should be, barring some IT or boiler related disasters.

    Oh man, I hate IT.

I'll just nip down to docklands and have a look-see... the way our power bills keep rising, I wouldn't be surprised.

I've just organized myself out of having to come to London at all this week. Next week I'll be there though!

They will. They made fun of my poor ol' commuter a couple of weeks ago. They're ruthless.

To be fair you had gaffer tape on the bars...

That implies that the tape in question covered the bars... it didn't... and it was electrician's or 'magic' tape!

Oi! (It was black insulating tape. It's now sporting new bar tape. Am thinking of giving her a re-spray over the winter. )

Nice to meet you , Headhuter and Brun! :)
  • Don't worry Chris; someone actually turned up on a yellow Halfords Apollo. They were refused entry.

  • Yeah nice to put faces to names, however I'm still nmot sure I can remember some of the real names, so don't be offended if I call you Brun or IT Boffin next time I see you! And you didn't even take the p*ss out of my Apollo! IT Boffin even allowed his bike to be locked to it!

I've got a mini D, and yesterday's still slightly damp socks which could be used for frame protection.

Cheers. Sterling work. I feel brighter and less fuzzy already. Of course, that could be the lack of carbon monoxide since my boiler has been deemed unsafe and has been disconnected :(
