I think you might be right there.
Well with any luck all that rain will have smoothed out all the ruts the mx boys decided to carve in for us. :roll:The trouble with having an open mind, of course, is that people will insist on coming along and trying to put things in it.

But some of the ruts have made nice berms! 8)Timmo.

True but the others are nice mech removing ruts.
Anyway it should be rather interesting, actually meant to ask you, have you noticed guinness has gone crap and turned amber of late, i've heard diaego are skimping and throwing in concentrate into a cheap beer base to save money to me it's nothing like the proper black stuff.
Any thoughts? The trouble with having an open mind, of course, is that people will insist on coming along and trying to put things in it.

the amount i drunk over the weekend i can confirm that it is as good as usual! 8) both Cans and pubs!
it does muchly depend on the pub, how busy it is and the last time it cleaned the pipes! guinness likes a quick throughput, and clean pipes! quite often at the Yacht club, have reteurned Many pints! first couple if a long pull are often very off! have given many perplexed bar maids in structions on what they need to do when returning pints before! they do look pretty but more often than not, have no idea how to pour a pint and certainly havent a Scooby doo about cleaning the pipes! (most of them dont even know haw to change the barrell! )
haha! yeah some of them there ruts are perfect for mech hanger snappage!!!
that be the reason i always carry a spare hanger with me!!
btw. what forks did your giant frame come with?? was it revalations? been generally nosing on the Bay of E at slightly longer travel forks for future! (watching what they go for etc.!!)Timmo.

Well all pints i've had of late have been amber, not good!!! it tasted flat and weak nothing at all like the creamy heady pint of black it should be!!
Like you say probably dirty piping more than anything i mentioned it to the barmaid, nicely of course and she didn't look best pleased, oh well i'll just have to find a better pub then won't i.
Forks umm 302 air toras i think just a lockout and non adjustable bar the air pressure, very weighty and seemed bombproof, damping seemed reasonable and as budget forks go they are meant to be decent. The trouble with having an open mind, of course, is that people will insist on coming along and trying to put things in it.

Our 2008 Rockhopper has Toras - they are bombproof and work very well for the money.
Prefer my Fox forks though.
Murphys kicks Guiness's ar5e. Just not marketed as much.0 -
Murphys! Eurgh! tooo sweet! yukety yuk yuk!
i'm a guinness man through and through! if they dont have guinness i'll have a softy! (or red wine!)
i've been making a semi shortlist as such for forks to look out for, 120mm style, so has been reba's revelations etc. no intention of buying for a while but to get an idea of what goes for what and trade off's of one against the other etc! (dont want to look Much over the 4lb mark tbh!) for when i replac e the sid's!Timmo.

You might actually be able to get more for your SIDs than you need to pay.Whatever you get will be heavier though.0
-
hmmn, not sure, they do really need a service (will get the parts and do them over winter) but suspect i'll prolly keep them! never have been one for selling on what i dont need loL!
expecting them to be heavier as will be more travel etc. just thought about some options, wouldnt mind the 120mm side at some point!Timmo.

had a bl##dy good laugh around idless earlier today! Seriously muddy and puddly up the top! one of them i aiomed for turned out to be nigh on crown hight! hahah! lots of slip sliding and fun though! gps went a Bit mental though! changed the batts down at the bottom of the free ride bit towards the back iof the woods and for some reason decided to locate me Somewhere in the sea! - thought it odd the screen was displaying the sea lol! after the first couple of loops on a distance check turns out we manage 1295 miles haha! with an average of 1345 ish lol! maybe it was all the water up the top of the woods that made it think it was int he sea haha!
in all very happy, Very muddy and feel good for it!
dumped the bike in the shed though when got home as brother rang when in thwe woods to say pops has been admitted to treliske, (dropped in on the way back but as was Gaggled in mud didnt stay around too long and pops was sleepy) so home shower and change and back in to be here! does mean with pops sleeping i get to catch up on all the mags i bought this month and use the mobile BB and the netbook too! cool toys!
must resist searching for More bike bits!! althoguh some of the football players Seal skinz may be a worthy investment after todays ride hahahah!
could always surf ebay and see what cr@p form my shed i could sell lol!!Timmo.

Frazzled the main computer today, im sniffing around for bits but it'll be a while so i won't be about as much until i get this sorted, could be a few months......The trouble with having an open mind, of course, is that people will insist on coming along and trying to put things in it.

139 days!!
Thats how many days you have to train before the SW XC Series comes to Idless. Lets support XC racing in Cornwall and show these people from Up Country what we can do.
Disclaimer (People from Devon and other counties are more than welcome in Cornwall unless they start spreading their freakish habits of putting the jam on after the cream or claiming the pasty as their own)0 -

Well thing is it's a watercooled pc and it was time to flush out the supposedly non conductive fluid, a bit got on the board and on a reboot it screamed chassis intrusion, now it won't even post, got a better board on the way but i'll end up losing everything on c drive seeing it's a different board, next time i fiddle i'll just rip out the whole loop first, hassle but it'll mean no more fried pc bits. The trouble with having an open mind, of course, is that people will insist on coming along and trying to put things in it.

But look at tthe positives. One of them is 10 minutes cycle from your house and 138 days to practise there0 -
Yep - that is pretty handy.
I'd struggle to get there in 10 mins though!0 -
