As you put it so articulately, I suppose I better say 'yes' to BBH a.m. Sunday.

Once again these young whippersnappers can't keep up the pace with us, er, more experienced pushbike-operatives. No stamina!!! No commitment!!! Full social calenders!!!! Hmmm, maybe that last one wasn't such a great argument.

Anyone else fancy a nice gentle (that should fool'em Mark  ) roll round Blue Bell Hill? Honestly we won't find any steps  and there's no chance of getting lost as I know the place like the back of my hand :lol:

Lmao I'm not 50 yet, but the way I'm going ill be there soon, at least mentally :P

Yeah got a pretty good idea of the way around Boxley, give or take
Done a new bit with Nick last time which will probably be my downfall if I was to lead.. But f** it, wait and see what happens!

Still not done Bedgebury and cant get there anyway, gotta clamp down on money expendature now.. Gonna be jobless in 37 days...
So if your all still up for it, BBH would be a good 1, been a while since I've been up there..

As for my fitness/injury... Yeah I do get alot of fun out of it, a monumentally large amount.. But on Monday I couldnt do over a mile without being in agony... So am hereby resting untill Friday, in which case its pain or no pain... I'm riding either way.

 Doh, gonna have to follow suit.... Why is it mums know when it's most inconvenient to 'pop-over' for the annual visit?

Deadpool2e, are you gonna phone Cedric and Peaty to tell 'em we're blowing out?

Phoned them and they said I was OK and they asked me to watch them on the live feed from freecaster.tv ( blatant plug )as its a DH championship weekend after all. :D

BTW I a m not blowing out because I am old, its because I have responsibilities all the younger guys have blown out because they have a social live (I can just about remember what that is like) :D

Headed over to Bedgebury this morning for a couple of laps and hardly saw a soul.

The new berms are quite good - shame they can't build a few more of those in

If anyone fancies a meet up at Bedgebury then I'm still game.

    Cheers all.

Well I'm guessing Boxley's no longer going ahead.. So it's off to Mereworth woods with me.. Anyone who can ride and interested, that's where a group of us are going.
Will know time, meeting place etc later

Hi guys im back from holiday which was a of a disaster! Girlfriend was ill for pretty much the whole week with a temperature/flu like symptoms so she was stuck in bed and then to top it off the villa got burgled on the second to last night! Good news is that i got to rest by the pool lots so my shoulder is feeling good.

Nick the bike looks good!hope you are happy with everything. Excellent that you manage to extend the forks did you notice much difference at all?

Mark, im worried my hopes are going to do the same thing, ive seen lots of posts on forums with them cracking. In those cases the person has contacted hope directly and they got a free replacement and the wheel built up.

Mate what a nightmare :( You still sound remarkably chilled though, hope it wasn't a total washout. Bet you were almost glad to be home!! Did you lose much stuff to the burglars? Hope you had insurance.

Still very, very happy with the bike thanks 8) I do notice the difference in the forks but also i dropped the pressure to give them a little more 'plushness' so they ride very differently. It's a bit of a bugger on the commute compared to the XTC but more than makes up for it for proper riding :D

Good news its covered under warranty. Was it a sudden thing or did you just happen to notice it one day? I've heard of that happening a few times now

What brake levers are you getting fitted? I thought the brakes were the only original part ;)

 Ade... Can't you just play nicely??

Servo wave brakes eh? Sounds very flash. Just don't stop too quickly in front of Ade as he'll probably go into the back of you and break something else on your bike ;)

I know....I could say that I haven't posted on here much as I've been out riding but that would be a lie!

I've not been out much and as a result have lost alot of stamina and am trying to gain it back.

I'll be up for an evening ride either weds, thurs, or fri around Blean
