Yeah i saw that - lol i suspected when I read "Fat Orange" but the pic even has your name on it! I just assumed he followed the map and posted it to show the route

Yeah thats what i thought :D all good :D

Shame about your wheel Steve, take the wheel to your LBS and get the correct size spokes and then find a guide on the internet and put them in. I doubt it would be to hard.

naa that would be worthless now everything is on the new back wheel and to be honest the wheels that came with the bike are crud

plus the single tracks look lovely on it 8) and £50 for the pair i thought was a bargain

just out of intrest what forks are you guys using?

No buy the pair of Singletracks. I have them and they are bloody good wheels, way lighter than the crappy ones your bike came with, and very strong!

Rockshox Revelations (coil) on the Trance and Rebas (air) on the XTC. Love them both - I prefer the extra travel and plushness on the Revs and the lightness of the Rebas

  • RS Tora 302 coil 100mm here and RS Recon 130mm. Bloomin great!

However having the big steel stanchions on the Tora's does make it a little hard at first, you soon get used to it though.
  • thats enough about the size of my QR. its not the size it how you use it

Only jesting. I really want a set of the 150 Talas 32 QR15's but unfortunately need the money to spend on food and plastic surgery so that I can attract women :)
  • Just sold my old TALAS rlc's on ebay. so have some more money to pay of for my new frame.

Its cheaper to get them drunk - never fails! Even cheaper is to wait until they've got themselves drunk and then steam on in there. Can you tell i've met a lot of classy women of late ;)

Will try the second option as that avoids having to try and talk to them. In my experience, opening lines about how big is your granny ring don't seem to go down well and you get accused of being a sexual deviant

:lol: And to think i'd grown 4 days stubble to make myself look more manly :lol:

Breezer - its not when i tell them how big my granny ring is that scares them - its when i start mentioning how many teeth are on it ;)
  • Oh you lot of Casanova’s . ha ha

I managed to get a dirtworker today after phoning (no kidding) about 20 shops. In the end the one around the corner from my work had 1. :D

Good work - now we pretty much all have them except Andy (who doesn't run a car at the moment) and Ade (who never washes his bike) ;)

How much did you pay Mark? Was it Halfords you got it from??

Being a 'player' or 'cassanova' is overrated when the new girl at work is desperately trying to avoid eye contact with you

Oh no wooing to be done there Mark, being single is far too much fun! And these days I can bike whenever i like 8) Just a bit of 'Monday after' awkwardness to put up with. All very juvenile

How come you phoned so many stores only to find one round the corner??! I'd have tried the closest ones first ;)
  • have you tried halfords store locator?? its crap.

i didn’t know there was one in balham, the store in Southampton told me they had some

Well if anyone wants to come round with their dirtworker and demonstrate it to me on two muddy bikes I have downstairs that will be great...
