Cadel's descending is always a pleasure. Gets so low.Contador is the Greatest0

Strong by Roelandts sprinting on to hold onto second after launching Greipel. Lotto 1-2
It wasn't just Kittel dropped, but most sprinters. Not sure on which hill0 -
The time zones mean I'm struggling to keep up with what stage we're talking about.
Evans descending gif - thanks FF, beautiful.0 -

That's magic. It's like the ugly duckling (on the way up) turning out to be a swan (on the way down).
Agree re timezones. I'm utterly lost.Warning No formatter is installed for the format0 -

Gerran must have taken back some bonus seconds...“New York has the haircuts, London has the trousers, but Belfast has the reason!0 -
Interesting that the TDU website has a different top 10. Where are Ulissi and Bookwalter?0

He took back bonus seconds at both intermediate sprints
Those GC results are the ones put up very quickly by the race organisers and are wrong and were subsequently amended. They make this mistake every year - rush to get them posted and then have to revise and re-post.
Ulissi's still in 3rd place on GC0 -
and cross-wind action!
Caught out Kittel, Renshaw etc0 -

Lost count of the amount of sprint photos that have got Viviani slamming his bars in frustration!0

There should be a website for it, in the style of Froome looking at stems.Warning No formatter is installed for the format0 -

It's not as though he's been pipped by a tyre width is it?0 -

He was actually going alright, but he came from miles back.0 -

Cameron Wurf's account of it is pretty good:
"So we all saw what happened next. Elia started the sprint way out of position and charged at the line so fast he sucked the helmets clean of the head of the 20 guys he past en route to an incredible 3rd place on the stage. He came so fast that there was simply a green flash on the screen and as often is the case we were only left to ponder what if the line had been 100m further down the road."
He also accepted the blame for the poor position Viviani was in.

Wurf's blog is a cracking read. Cheers. Obviously a bright guy. He seems genuinely puzzled that he lost his mind in the final.

No surprise to see gerrans follow all the way up. it's amazing how you can win a bike race like that, funny old sport"Unfortunately these days a lot of people don’t understand the real quality of a bike" Ernesto Colnago0

Steep at the bottom then flattens out so if he rides wheels well then rides Ulissi's wheel he had a good chance. Big shame for Cadel. Nice win by Porte but he attacked from 2k out not 10k like Quintana.
That useless rider Brown rolled in 18mins down with Eisel who is also always near the bottom.
Franck Schleck came in 5mins down...Greipel was ahead of him as well as Voigt who was charging around in the break before hand. Alaphillipe came in 3mins down.
Elissonde and Deignan same time as Schleck. Rory S doing a nice ride in 12th and Thomas in 10th. Very impressive with Impey...only 12 secs back after dragging Gerrans up.
Quintana beat 2nd place rider by same time as Porte beat 14th place.
Hope for tomorrow is that Gerrans misses out on a ton of bonus seconds and Evans scoops them up instead.Contador is the Greatest0 -
Is there any particular reason for comparing Porte/Quintana in the above considering they're 2 different types of riders in 2 different races racing against totally different opposition?0

Because sadly FF always needs to find some way, no matter how tenuous, to criticize Sky riders. :roll:0 -
