To be fair to Oman, some parts in the mountains are very beautiful, but as to Qatar, a race around the industrial estates of Portsmouth would be more aesthetically pleasing.

I see that as Cadel having too good form for January and
Porte riding to BC's schedule.

"It had been announced a breakaway group hit the climb with a small gap and everyone went crazy when the 3 big Aussie favourites of Cadel Evans, Richie Porte and Simon Gerrans are heard to be in the breakaway.
