I have booked a B&B for the Saturday night (16th June) so will be coming to Dalbeattie on the Sunday. (get in quick as I phoned loads before getting an available one!!)

Looks like Saz will also be staying over and a possibility of Derek so looking like it will be a good weekend.

Anyone else a definite yet?

I tried 4 others that were all full before getting that one, they inc Corsbie Villa and FlowerBank but cant remember the others names.

Only chance I've got of making this, is if somebody else would be willing to drive.

I'm on late shift, so don't finish work til midnight on the friday, and chances of me driving down and remaining awake would be very slim!

Not sure that I'm going to be able to make this now. Had a fairly big off on Wednesday night and as a result think I'll be off the bike for a wee while :-(

Was out on Wednesday night and about half way round a 20k forrest loop there is a flight of about 100 stairs - you know the large country trail kind. Well I'm on about the last half dozen and feel myself going over my handle bars (at a fair speed). Manage to clip out, but landed heavily on my knees. Both knees were pretty badly cut up, but I managed to get myself back on the bike and pedal gingerly back to the car. Worst part was having to use a nail brush on the open wounds to get the grit and gravel out (the air was Blue!)

Still pretty stiff, but I can now walk without much limping. They is presently a lovely combination of scabs, bruising and swelling.

I'm absolutely gutted as I felt my fitness was really starting to improve from what it was, but I'm a quick healer, so hopefully I shouldn't be off the bike for too long. Will probably try a wee pedal next weekend to see how it goes.

OUch - could have been worse by the sounds of things, although it probably dosent feel like it at the moment.
