I don't mean to sound harsh, but i fell that the amount of media coverage that this event is getting is totally out of proportion. There are alot of children who go missing that don't make it into the news at all, let alone the headlines for so many weeks. Just because it happened in another country is no justification, and it is unfair for the parents who have lost children in similar circumstances and not had any media coverage. As to punishment, i think losing their child is more than enough!

i agree,they don't seam to me that upset! Swaning around now on the Madeline fund, meeting the Pope,waveing at the crowds. If it was my kid,they wouldn't let me on the telly,Swearing n cursing the sillys the took her![:(!]

yes, i think they are upset, seeing as they often break down at press meetings n things. perhaps they're using the support of the general public to help take their minds off it? did that occur to you?

They like to think that people do care, but I really don't that much (if at all). Being honest, who is really that bothered? Not many people really care at all - they wouldn't until it concerns them directly.

no, i don't think there is a conspiracy going on if that's what you mean.

Why would there be leads though, I'm always suprised how many crimes are solved. Lets say you walk to the room, knock on the door, even forcefully grab the girl (but stop her shouting), carry her off to a car boat etc.

It really isn't that likely that people are paying anough attention to notice.

Some british holiday maker saw madaline getting carried out of the hotel thingy in a blanket, and she thought the child was the mans own. so naturally she didnt think anything of it until the mother ran around screaming my daughters been taken.

Whats so special about it is, that two middle class doctors have had there photogenic child taken away. The story sells lots of papers, and get lots of viewers. Thats whats so special.

That said, it is a shame.
